Yeah, having nothing but full-out burning sun all the time isn't what this contest is aiming at.

Maybe I can find a dry and dead patch of grass or something, b/c the drought. :lmao

Drought and burning sun is 100% more “bad weather” than rain imo so that’s fair. If I participate that’s likely what I’ll go for (don’t have much choice really, that’s the weather we’ve had for months now). :catshrug

You gotta be kidding me. Usually during the photo contest, the weather here is awful. Now it is bright, sunny and pretty.

Looking at my desktop background right now, which I snapped a couple summers ago in one of those 'you had to be there' moments (where the photo doesn't do the actual scene justice of course), wondering if I should upload it, or does it have to be something completely new?

As long as you haven't used this picture in another contest here at MH, you can use it now^^ That's what the rules says about being "new", something that hasn't been shown here yet. The age of the picture doesn't matter o/
