Hoooly shit that final Class Trial @Asako Actually finished the game on Monday but sorta had to gather my thoughts first and let it sink in, because boy that was one hell of a twist. Really enjoyed it, and even after thinking about it and reading some thoughts and analysis' of others on the web, I still think it was an amazing ending. I can see how it could rub some people the wrong way, but I thought it was spectacular and very ballsy. Danganronpa really manages to surprise you each time

Everything being fiction was an incredible meta twist. I saw some people saying they felt personally attacked because of the stuff Shuichi said etc, but I didn't really feel that addressed bc I didn't support 53 Danganronpa "seasons" or watched it each day, so obviously it wasn't directed at me. And I could totally understand where Shuichi was coming from, even thought breaking the whole hope/despair chain was another great twist. The general message is what matters, and there I agree that something can be real even if it's fiction, as long as has an impact on reality/on you. So yeah, pretty good message in my eyes.

Which reminds me the whole V3=53 was an epic twist too, as was the troll move with Junko being the mastermind AGAIN at first lol

As for some general things, didn't really like Class Trial 3 (Korekiyo), it was all a bit too obvious. Besides that Case 1, 5 and 6 were my favourites. 2 and 4 had a strong finish as well. Trial 5 prolly was my favourite overall, bc it had everything from beginning to end, while 1 and 6 are mostly great thanks to the strong impact near the end. Kokichi and Kaito were both pretty good, though Maki definitely is my fav, such a precious cinnamon roll

Overall I think V3 might actually be my fav Danganronpa game, but...

And perhaps the only thing that bugged me was that the Monokubs ended up being just mascots, and nothing more.

And just look at my set, I never said I don't like Kokichi, just that I would rate Nagito more highly Favs chars for me were Kokichi, Shuichi, Maki and Kaito. Well Kaede too, but yeah... Honestly didn't change much, besides Kaito they're the same chars I liked the most in the beginning too lol.

Yeah, but mostly a Flandre fan, not so much Touhou in general. I'm absolutely no expert on the series (unlike with Danganronpa).

Well, we poor unfortunate westerners have some trouble knowing much about Touhou anyway as it never really got to us. xx The games usually only work on japanese plattforms and so on...
But yeah, happy to find Danganronpa fans! I've rarely seen them so far but its gaining more attention. xDD Fav chars... well, obviously the magnificent being that is depicted gracefully on your avatar (absolutely not overdramatizing things here... xDD). Else I like Nagito, Chiaki, Maki, Gundam, Kyoko, etc. ... there are a lot I like actually. There are rarely characters I absolutely dislike... but I don't really fancy f.e. Miu, Hiyoko or Hagakure. xD

Funny, I think there actually are a lot of Danganronpa fans out there. It's getting quite a lot of discussion on stuff like tumblr and quite a few review and analyzing vids on Youtube. If you mean personal contact, then yes it's the same for me On MH I only know Asako and now you who've played all games.

Of it's worst written characters I don't agree with that statements especially miu, I thought in game she was really interesting.

She actually every class trail guessed the murder right, first she guessed it was the mastermind, then Kirumi in the second and finally Kiyo, she's like the dumbest smartest character
Plus I love her interactions with kokichi, that love and hate relationship
The real worst character to me is defiantly Haiji form despair girls
And maybe also Hifumi, he was rather annoying

And those Love suite events that are full of ships possibility and fantasy

Ah right, all the discord servers out there from lots of different MH members lol. syx recently told me he's on three different discord servers from MH guys, and I imagine there are many more

Well they're just boring or rather unlikeable characters to me, that's what I meant. Hagakure is well, harmless, but I just don't care about him at all. Hiyoko is... just too rude and nasty for my liking, Miu is sort of similar but a more interesting/developed version. Didn't notice that she guessed all three murderers by chance though, lol. Still don't really like her much as a char, but enjoyed how Kokichi treated her + her reactions

Don't know Haiji, but I agree that Hifumi is annoying, forgot about him xD
And no, didn't do any of the extra events. It's mostly just fluff from my experience, and I don't care too much about those. Do tell me if there's anything noteworthy/interesting though :3

Actually I got to know the series from a youtube video. xD A song called "Bad Apple". It uses Touhou characters in shadow art. I got interested in them that way. My signature is actually a screenshot from that video I edited. I got interested in Flandre because of her unique wings and that devilish grin.

Yeah, I'm slowly getting to know more people but personally there's next to no one else beside me who played these games... smh. xD

Mostly personality wise. Miu just constantly annoyed the hell out of me. I'm really having trouble with characters like Hiyoko and Miu who constantly annoy others, bash them and act superior but the second they get some backlash suddenly the other person is the mean one bullying their poor innocent self. I just can't handle such hypocrites.
I mean f.e. Kokichi also insults people and picks on them but you can clearly see he expects and accepts the backlash of it (even though he might act like he doesn't, you can see he's faking it for his amusement). He's self-aware in that regard not acting like he's allowed to act like an a** to others but others aren't allowed to fight back.
Miu had her value in the story though, for sure, I give her that. She helped Kokichi a lot to get his plans done and developed and created a lot of things. Also I didn't notice that stuff with guessing the killers right. xD This reminds me of Hagakure being right on the last person being killed or his statement of 'Our kids will have the same mom' as a reference to the Bad Ending in the first game. To quote Kokichi here: "Oh my god. Miu actually said something smart!"

Oh god, I forgot Haiji... this dude... this dude is sooo weird... xD' Nevermind his implied pedo-issues but goddamnit... he's so bad...so weird. Hifumi wasn't great either, true. Very annoying. I actually almost forgot about him... guess that says a lot on its own.

Jup... I did them all. xD I usually play a Danganronpa game to the fullest. There are some interesting revelations in these scenes. xD Like how Kokichis ideal is actually the 'real' Shuichi. Or that it clearly shows that Shuichi does have some feelings for Kaede with how he acts in her event. I was a bit saddened that Makis event didn't show any implication of her ideal being Kaito, though.
... ...but of course there are some disturbing ones I'd rather like to forget... *cough* Kiyo... ropes... *cough*
