Asuma chapter 317 colored

Asuma's just too cool for words. Especially in this pic I colored of him. At first I was going to color the whole page, but then I got lazy and cropped out Asuma and colored him instead. I can't color metal. And I didn't add a background either. Oh well.

It's cell shaded, by the way.

Looks really nice , i can see you used dynamic dragon's tutorial . but the lineart just playng sucks , the quality of the scan is really bad , but you shure are good at cell shading bravo!

Thanks for the comments everyone! I didn't really USE DD's tutorial, but I pretty much base all my cell shading from that tutorial now, like where to put the shading and things like that. So I guess I indirectly used his tutorial :P

Yeah, I guess the scan wasn't too clean, but I cleaned it the best I could. Does anyone know how to make lines really smooth? I'm guessing most of it's done manually, but hey, if there's a shortcut, I'll take it. ^^

To make lineart smoth you'd have to redraw it , first of all make a new layer above the lineart , then on your keybord hit u and select the line tool (it's a big ass line) , then just go over all the lines on the new layer you just made.
Then if needed get the eraser tool , select the original lineart and delete parts that look bad under the lines you redrew.
That's it

But yes. I'm kinda glad about him appearing more often, sicne it's so wonderful to see people colour him. Now if only Kurenai would come. >_<

But yeah, you coloured the most bad ass panel of that chapter. Oh, btw, if you'rew planning on colouring him next time, keep the bracelets black. :P Looks cooler that way. Black rubberish or something. XD
