He stops at his daddy because he can't bypass the immortality of the greatest black wizard in History. Definitely beats Irene, he already proved his superiority over Irene during their confrontation and Irene didn't rebel against him given what a rebellious **** she is. Gets one-shotted in the bonus round though.
Might stop at round 4 like @Seven777 said if lucy is willing to summon CSK otherwise lose because Erza will be too busy protecting the incompetent Lucy and Cana.

he beats Irene since logically he should be able to have DS magic.

He doesn't have DS magic therefore he loses to Irene. He would have been noted as a DS if he copied DS, but was never stated to have it or have copied it therefore he is not DS.

Erza poses a challenge since he can't nullify her magic and if Lucy summons the king at her new power level then CSK and Erza could possibly win.

Zeref. He called himself a pawn to Zeref so yeah, August ain't stronger than his daddy. Zeref gets the belt and starts whooping his son's ass lol.

Yet never used any of his magics or hinted to have copied them. Don't think he can copy external powers altogether therefore I don't think he can copy DS magic since it was bestowed upon them by a Dragon or Lacrima.

For the GMG and Tenrou. Cana was able to use it without the Tattoo in Alvarez. Also Mavis magic would run out just like Igneel's and Silver's magical power.

eh my memory is a bit fuzzy.

still, he might not copy Lucy's magic but I'm pretty sure he can copy CSK.

CSK best feat so far is competing with Mard Geer and August is completely different level... so what if lucy is stronger currently without feats csk is not beating anyone here expect fodders...

August wrecks everyone for the most part. The three caveats to this are:

Round 2 could get interesting if Kyouka rips his senses away, he isn't immune to Curses so they could give him a little trouble. The only problem is that August is stupidly durable, being able to take Gildarts' spell and then casually get up with a bloody lip.

Round 6 depends entirely on if you believe Melt is a DS spell. Personally I think it is since it appeared in the background when Gildarts figured out how August's Magic works. Consequently he beats Irene.

Round 7... does August win if he just incapacitates Zeref? If so then he stomps Zeref and moves onto the bonus round, otherwise he stops here because he can't kill Zeref.


As for the bonus, August gives Human Acno hell if he plays around like he did with Irene and Jellal. When he gets serious though, August gets the Serena treatment.

Edit: Final verdict - August clears the gauntlet with relative ease but gets stomped in the bonus round when Acno gets serious.

I said "might". I think Alvarez Lucy's improvement is at least as great as everyone else's, likely greater, so CSK should scale with that to final boss tier of that arc. So yeah, imo CSK alone is a match for August. Feat-wise he's got nothing since he hasn't appeared since Tartaros, I still think he could solo though.

probably happened, according to Zeref he has been killed and regenerated a bunch of times. He really is that weak. Random nameless characters can slaughter that fodder.

The same can be said for any DS mage, the magic is theirs now. Cana also currently still uses the tatoo

Where is this Stigma that August can't copy DS magic. It's a caster type just like Ice Make and Heavenly Body. August said he can master Caster types but no Holder type.
