Discussion Baam's absolute limit

I know the data we saw of urek at the hidden floor was compromised but even then to me it does not look like urek was as strong as a family head back them. And it is unlikely that he didn't grow substantially as he climbed and mastered shinsoo. Urek is without a shred of a doubt an insanely powerful shinsoo user, the lore even makes the point that he can perform in any position splendidly.

One thing I do find interesting about urek is that whenever he appears no one has referred to him as being divine or having divine power. In turn when data zahard met his older self he specifically mentions the divinity older zahard had about him. Maybe urek simply doesn't present himself as a divine being or maybe there is something else going on here....

Zahard might be trying to awaken as an axis, so thats a good possibility.

We saw him use one shinso attack in the entire series (against Bam) and it was weaker than his normal punch (against Hell Joe) so I don't think shinso is his strong point.

Well we saw him blow up an entire canyon like arena with just a teensy small bang which he just managed to aquire after bam broke through hell Joe 's prohibition somewhat.

He gets along with everyone nonchalantly.. Yuri even dares to stomp on him. He can probably vaporise yuri in 2 mins when he is half serious but there she was stomping him.

From what I can tell that was just his physical power and not shinso cause it says no where Bam was able to break Hell Joe's control of the shinso in the area.

With his data being incomplete because he was so powerful compared to the FH's data being fine, I think it implies he was always a beast and the FH's grew over time...

It's not a stretch that the actual urek was stronger than the family heads but it is a stretch that urek at that point was stronger or as strong as the family heads from after the climb. What we saw from urek was damn impressive of course but at least it didn't appear to be on the level of a fully developed family head. Urek was still pretty young at that point and none of the people there noted that urek seemed that strong. While there is no real cap to how strong the actual urek could have been, that's a different thing from saying the bit we saw evidences urek was as strong as a fully developed family head.

It was absolutely shinsoo. Urek tells Bam to break a hole in the Red Thryssa’s control so that he can make one bang. If it was his physical power he wouldn’t have needed to wait for Bam to do anything.

I just reread the whole fight, he never says that, in fact he says he can't use shinso there.

At one point he punches and Hell Joe is surprised and thinks "This place is supposed to be under my control" but there is no indication it was shinso seeing as just before he said he couldn't use any.

The crack part comes after they already defeated Hell Joe and the Red Thrysa is about to suicide blast and then Urek does shoot a bang of shinso into it but for all we know the huge explosion was the Red Thrysa suicide bomb going off early cause Urek's bang interrupted it (Or maybe even from Bam's black hole sphere). Urek's punches seemed to cause way more destruction then the combined shinso explosion of the three of them (and we have no idea whose shinso was the largest part of the blast but its safe to assume it wasn't Urek cause he could barely use Shinso at the time).

Yes that’s exactly what I’m talking about with the shinsoo bang. Urek used only what he needed so he didn’t kill anyone else. He’s actually highly proficient, unlike Yuri who nearly kills everyone around

Seriously though, Urek uses spatial distortion, which has to be a high difficulty shinsoo technique. And SIU has stated Urek can easily fill all positions. And he’s ranked #4. You can’t be that and not have superior shinsoo abilities.

Two things here: 1. Urek is actually considerate of his power and doesn’t throw it around if he doesn’t need it to. It takes a really experienced person to do that. 2. SIU is giving us little by little of Urek to prevent power bloat, give ya something to look forward to later, and also to allow Urek to show up and help - if he ROLF stomped everyone it wouldn’t be fun to see him. And I love seeing Urek - with the power of looooooooove
