Hi guys. We've got a nice number of chapters now [I remind you that Death Note was nearly at the half part in this point] that's why I'll want to open that topic to discuss the clearly differences between these 2 mangas. Of course, is really clear the difference in subject matter between these 2 but I'd like to scan their assets and chinks and if we can make this happen decide indeed [even if it's too early] what of them could be the best.
Imo [infact if we go to look at the 40th death note's chapter, we're not too far from L death] there is a chasm between the mangas. Overleaping the layouts, that are not really changed a lot, in the meaning that obata changed his style in what was required by Ohba, is exactly that difference between subject matters that make that chasm between them.
They are both attractive, of course, but fuck, when you were reading Death note [The Kira Vs L Saga] you wanted only to read the next chapter and fuck up everything, while in Bakuman, even if it's nice, all this heat to know the following there isn't.
Btw, I love Bakuman as I loved Death Note, I'm just saying that imho the second one was clearly better.
