I actually did do a bit of searching for you when I was looking for my own set, but there seems a major lack of good fanart of Rintarou out there... or at least ones that would be useable as an avatar. It's quite sad, really. The image you chose is one of my favorites! I had actually bookmarked it to show you later (along with this one), but wanted to look a little more first.

I haven't really scoured the web quite yet, but even dArt is fairly low on submissions compared to what I'm used to.

Hmm, I may check out the nearby game store next time I'm there for a used copy. I've realized that games I only play once are rarely worth the full price (single player games). That being said I'm in my exam period now (had my first one today. Yeah, on a Saturday, home exam), so I may save it for the Holidays if I buy it.

All in all it's the best show I've seen in many years. It's hard to compare series that are so different, but S;G was no doubt a masterpiece. I have never been on such an emotional rollercoaster ever. Even if I'm a bigger fanboy of e.g. TTGL, S;G is the best anime I've seen. I can't think of anything that was bad in it. I wasn't overly shocked by some of the twists, but that doesn't have to weigh negatively. Talking about the later episodes, I was pretty surprised I forgot about Kurisu's D-mail. When Okabe remembered it I was like "how on earth did he (and I) forget about that?!". The pairing part, obvious of course. It was nice to get confirmation in the series though, not all are as good at developing romance... The last two episodes were pretty surprising. I didn't expect Suzuha to come back in a better time machine. It was kind of confusing, but only a Mad Scientist would truly understand. I usually love sad endings. They make the endingings leave a more lasting impression like e.g. LOTR or TTGL, but the plot didn't allow for that to happen in S;G. I thought that Okabe might die, and that would have made it really sad in itself.

Hard to say it's the best series ever but it's a masterpiece, without a doubt. Agree with everything you said there.
