While reading through Naruto's fight with Pein (again) and seeing this page http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/444/06/ it made me think of a possibility why Bee wears glasses - apart from looking cool.
I propose that the reason is due to having full control over the eight tails, he's eyes are constantly shaped like the eight tails. Like Madara and Itachi's sharingan always being active.
Every time Naruto hits the mark of turning kyuubi, his eyes change like the link posted above. I believe it's quite feasible for Bee to have eyes like this constantly. http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/414/01/
Gaara's eyes are as they are because of the one tails. I can't find the page, but I am almost certain he had insomnia because of his bijuu. Gaara has show full control since early on http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/134/13/ but doesn't have the same eyes as I'd expect. Which there itself proves the theory incorrect.

If we look at Naruto again though, he's "trait" if you like is his whiskers and I assume thats because of the Kyuubi. Neither his mother or father had them. So perhaps it's not just eyes the hosts take but any sort of face feature.
It would be interesting for peoples thoughts on the possibility.
