from looking at the baka-updates page, this series wasn't ever added to the database, and thus is unlikely to have any Edited Mangas whatsoever.

I had no idea that Muira did more works. I always assumed Berserk and works related to it was all he managed to accomplished.

I had no idea he worked with an author to create a manga as well.

Um we will get the next chapter in a few days, and I was wondering if Miura decided not to follow the usual 3 chapters and a long break, because from the last one we got to this the break is not as long as the previous, so when we get a new chapter on the 24th of June will we get the 3 chapter thing or a new way of releases?

Nah he is just random I believe, he will do whatever he feels like. Young Animal (whatever the mag is) Is happy whenever he will bring his work, He won't get pressured by them and they will always keep a spot open for him if he says he has a new chapter. The break he had last was because he lost some manuscripts. I don't count a 1 month wait as a break because there are many manga's that do monthly ones.

One month wait is fine with me, yeah it suits Berserk, one month should be enough to have a great chapter. No super long breaks that are more then 3 months that is killer for someone following the story. Bi-weekly is better but oh well...

Finally started reading this manga, and so far i have been enjoying it a lot. Won't take much time to catch up with it, even though i am still only at the 8th Volume.

I started reading this manga from the year of 2010. And the only thing I regret from "Berserk" was reading it too fast.

I should have just read 3 chapters a day. But noooo, it had to be so interesting, so I read one-fourth of the story in 1 day. it took me nearly 2 weeks to finish...but if I had no interruptions with life studies (with the insane reading intensity I was going with at the time), it would have taken me 3-4 days to finish.

If only I knew ahead of time that this wasn't a monthly manga; That this was a "release whenever the mangaka felt like it" kind of manga, then I would have taken my time and read it casually. There was truly no need for me to rush, because by the time I caught up, I ended up desperate for more at a faster pace. I think I went insanely berserk when I heard that a chapter haven't been released for over 3 months.

So I would advise to those who just started reading this, don't rush. You'll eventually catch up either way.

hah, as you know, it's hard not to rush.

But the good thing is, I find Berserk highly re-readable after not reading or being involved with it for a couple months. Perfect cycle for a re-read during long breaks.

I actually think Berserk is better when read in large chunks. I'm going crazy dealing with the last 3-4 chapters that were released. Feels like we've been going nowhere fast. At least when I can read them apart of the entire arc or sub-arc, it would feel much more "solid".

I feel that Berserk is better when you don't have 1 chapter to read per month(s). Having more at your disposal allows you to see the story in the big picture and I find that more enjoyable.

Yeah, I've re-read it at least 4 or 5 times so I can agree that it's highly enjoyable going through it again. Plus, with the irregularity of the releases it's sort of required after a point

On a different note, Hellsing OVA 8 is out and that got me pumped for the new Berserk movie(s). I think the Berserk stuff will look even better too, judging by the trailer.

Hm, so the next volume comes out at the end of September and it seems only one chapter is needed to complete it, so we may get a chapter before the end of September.
