Does anyone know where I can purchase the 2nd English volume of Berserk for a reasonable price $10-15 usd? I decided to starting reading the manga because the recent anime series got me interested. Been looking everywhere, but a lot of sellers are asking for ridiculous amounts (like $30+). I'd like to avoid paying that much for a single volume.

When mozgus (the breaking wheel guy) was talking to lady franess about the history of the tower of conviction, and he referred to the history of the tower being a holy place because a man of "god" was imprisoned there by king gadseric . Does this mean that the god mozgus and the holy see follows is actually one of the 5 angels who make up the god hand? Because we know gadseric was a good guy

Most of the readers think that Gaiseric is the Skull Knight. And given that there were brands yes it must be one of the God Hand(Probably Void). The God would be the Idea of Evil.

The entire religion the Holysee may have been created/manipulated by the Idea of Evil for the coming of Femento/Griffith role.

Skull Knight was asking Zodd if he was playing as the Gatekeeper to the Eclipse because he was standing in his way. However Zodd replied no he was just there to fight Skull Knight cause he knew he would choose that time to interfere.

The apostles are free to do whatever they want and Zodd spent most of his time searching for someone stronger than he who could give him purpose which he found in Femto-Griffith.


- As for Skull Knight being Gaiseric there are lots of clues such as Slain referring to him as your majesty or the flash back sequence where they mention Emperor Gaiseric used to wear a skull helmet and Guts reaction.

It is heavily implied gaiseric is the skull knight and the "wise man" was more than likely void. Don't be fooled. I like the skull knight and even if gaiseric isn't the sk and hardly has been mentioned, I like him but gaiseric could very well have been a dictator like history paints him to be and he only became "good" after becoming the sk if he indeed is him

im on chapter 170 of the manga now, im reading it more and more often because shit is currently hitting the fan.

the greatest thing about the artwork in this manga is the backgrounds, alot of manga-artists take the backgrounds for granted, or get lazy or hire someone else to draw them

miura is a real artist, and these pages are like a canvas, it is one of the most detailed mangas ive ever read (the art)

pretty awesome stuff

i love how isidorio was running from serpico and franeze after stealing their food

they actually have quite the powerful party now with serpico's sword skills added to guts , not sure when caska will recover from her trauma (or if she will return)

the story was already good, but when the witch silke joined the party the entire manga just got better, the party got stronger, and overall im really , really enjoying reading it.
