There may be more, we might be thinking along the lines of the last announcement when he said he will do some chapters just to complete the volume. Keep your heads up guys, we usually get three, but here is hoping that we get five.

I'm just thinking usually 3 then a 3 month break then 3 again so I don't think I could handle a 4 and a half break XD I remember that 5 month break in 2010 I think it was.

New chapter should be released next week in Japan, right? Can not wait for it, it's been a while since I've been so anxious for a chapter, all the speculation about a small 'time skip' and such, can not wait for them to reach Elfheim.

I see it more likely that we'll go back to Griffith rather than see Elfheim in the next chapter personally...

Seeing the story move away from the Sea God would be most pleasing already, and an update about Griffith situation is also needed. Tho I won't lose hope on the minor time skip and a beautiful spread on the last two pages of Elfheim entrance.

Maybe. But with Isma still being there I imagine it will involve her. I just don't know a completely Gut's Party-centric chapter would be like if they don't get to Elfheim. Probably dull.

In the newest saga so far we only got one arc, and that is with Guts, though we were with Griffith for a long time before that. It would be a bit too fast to cut to him, after a relatively short little arc with Guts, no? I am fine with it, simply because as it was said if we do not see something interesting happen with Guts' gang we certainly need to cut to more interesting stuff, though it will be a bit fast.

This newest batch of chapters ending with them just arriving at Elfheim? Meh.

Well, the little flashback with Guts was a bit uninteresting, so we have been waiting for something good for a while now. Though about the chapter, didn't it just say fall? And we only got news as to when the volume is released, so it comes out next week, yet it still is summer?

I thought the flashback was great, even if it didn't relate to the current plot. It did seem out of place though, especially since it didn't really relate to the movies either.

Oh wow, good then, I am hyped about the chapter now.

Yeah, that was kind of it, though for me it started off really good, I really liked the fairy, but the ending was well logical but still I did not like it as much as the beginning of it. And about the Sean God arc, it had a good build up as well, maybe not the best execution, though I guess it was a transition arc.

The reason why we had the "Griffith Arc" was so that we would understand what was going on when that veil surrounded everyone and combined the planes into one. It also gave the reason as to why Guts had to face off against the Sea God, had the Griffith Arc not been done then the veil and the fact they faced off against a mythical creature on an island would have made no sense to use since we are to believe that these creatures woudln't have existed in this world when they first departed on the ship.

There is truly no reason to go back to Griffith now since it would not add to the story unless something Griffith does affects Elfheim.

That's probably true. I'm just not sure where the story goes after they part with Isma. Elfheim immediately? Doubtful.

25 is normally the amount of average pages. Man can't wait to see what happens next since the sea god arc is over maybe a bit of talk with Ilsma and her mother for abit.

Mirua should really think about hiring assistants really... Such a great manga going to waste just because of its schedule, if only it was monthly, it would've been much much better
