Yeah, but in recent memory it's been 9. Before that it was 10, and then it varied prior to that.

But I wouldn't assume it'll still be 9, considering the possibility of the length of the chapters changing. I think it's unlikely, but it could still happen. If the new chapters are a bit longer, the volumes will probably have a smaller amount of chapters (same length overall though).

Oh I didn't think about it that way, actually the volume length has more to do with the number of pages, which if I'm not mistaken should be around 220 pages. So maybe if there are more pages in a chapter, there will be less chapters featured in the tankobon.
Btw the correct naming is "episodes".

Yeah, which means the next volume would be finished sooner....except the series is now monthly, so I'm not sure if it'll actually be released quicker. Kind of weird.

Eh, yeah I used to insist upon that in the past as well, but it's still a "chapter" just like any other series. Miura decided to name story arcs Chapters (Lost Children, Binding Chain, Holy Demon War, etc) and name his chapters "Episodes". Many other series also have unique names for their chapters as a stylistic choice, but fans don't insist on calling them that, so I don't really care anymore honestly, too lazy.

Yeah the arcs are called chapters, and the chapters are called episodes. Some people even coined the name "chaptisode"

It will be returning in the issue of Young Animal that is to come out on the 24th of July, it says it will be monthly from that issue onward. We have no idea how many months Miura is planning to release it as a monthly series, so once it starts we'll see how it goes.

I would love to see a new Berserk game, by Platinum games no less. As someone who has played the second Berserk game it was rather enjoyable, especially fighting Zodd(both times) and Griffith

July 24th, no idea if we'll get some spoiler leaks sooner than that, it's not the case for Berserk we get them earlier than the official release in Japan, is it?

To redraw Berserk smoothly is a pain in the ass though, especially recent chapters artworks are pretty complicated.

I thought it has more to do with the raws not being available early. Oh well guess we have to wait if we want quality.

I doubt that will happen pretty soon.

Well, I think we will most likely meet the Elf King pretty soon after we get back to Guts' group.
I don't think they will have another side-adventure before getting to the elf island.

And since curing Casca was the whole point of getting there, he will most likely ask the Elf King right away if that is possible.

I agree though, that curing her might take longer than that, and that there might be a discussion regarding if the should even cure her, since it seems like she forgot everything to protect herself from the atrocities that happened that night.

But, regardless of all that, I really want Casca back.
She was an amazing character, and I loved her relationship with Guts.
I still like her as she is, but it's just not the same, so I do believe that eventually, she will be cured.
