It's happening they cannot go back from their word now...plus why just re do the anime episodes into movie when you can give the fans what we really want....THE REST OF THE STORY ANIMATED!!

I just went on the website and the part that says about the movie has a flash image of all the characters and others linked to who. One linked to Guts is Silat, thats the guy who he fought to save Caska and he is the guy that works for the Baraki and Kushan. So it showed him and others but I didn't see Wylad. But yeah you can't cut out Silat because the Baraki show up often once the Neo band of the hawk is born.

It was announced on Tuesday that the recent anime film trilogy adaptation of Kentaro Miura's Berserk manga has been licensed for distribution in 16 countries around the world. Viz Media announced that they would be releasing the film in North America during their panel at Sakura-Con on Saturday.
So, it was released by Viz Media last Saturday during the Sakura-con event?
Since the even take place in America, was that a subtitled version of it?

If that's the case, we might not need to wait after the DVD/Blu-ray release to see a subtitled movie online! :tem

It was purely an announcement, they don't have a finished subtitled version available as of yet, we will have to wait until the fall to see anything unfortunately. So, it would be a case of finding subbed versions online after the Japanese release for now.

On the positive side for UK fans, Kaze UK (who have picked up the license here) have just sent me a tweet saying they intend to do a theatrical release in London :-)

P.S Hi everyone, first time poster here. I've been reading through some of the comments in the manga release section for Berserk and think it's pretty insightful so I wanted to join the conversations :-)

Oh, I see...
I guess there was a comma missing or something...

I read "Viz Media announced that they will be releasing the film in NA during the Sakura-con" but actually, it meant "During the Sakura-Con, Viz Media announced that they will be releasing the film in NA".

Makes more sense now! :tem

PS: Welcome to MH! :D

I wish we got more clips and info for movie II, nothing for 2 months and it's out next week! But Movie I will heal my pain.
It's gonna be awesome watching the RAW then waiting to watch the sub then watching it again.

It would seem they do shipping as well! Now....How I figure out to pick Blu-ray and proceed with Shipping.

I know of a good site where you can order from, they offer free shipping for orders over 39 dollars, but it depends on the country you're from. If you're really from Australia, they do have free shipping for you. And seeing how close Hong Kong is to Australia, your order shouldn't take long to arrive.

I've ordered a bunch of Berserk RAWs from them and they are legit, you can trust them.
DVD
Blu-Ray

Thank you so much!!! I'm just buying in order to be a support hand from oversea's. Will my PS3 play the Blu-Ray? I'm pretty sure the region code doesn't matter on my PC.
$76 pretty dear for a movie though XD but oh well.

Well, yeah, it is kinda expensive. 6090 yen = 76 dollars, but at least they offer you free shipping. You can also buy the DVD version, but it's more advantageous to buy the Blu-Ray version. 10 dollars difference in price, but the Blu-Ray has better quality.

And I did support Miura by buying volumes 1-10, 14, 16, 33 and 36. I plan on buying them all, eventually, when I have enough money. I started scanning and editing, but I need new translations, as I don't want to use the ones from The Hawks. xD

Yeah Idk if I should hold off for a week and a half to buy the blu ray XD or put it on the credit card XD
I have volume 1-35 36 isn't here yet, I think I may need to get vol 3 again though....seems I bought a bad one cause the 2 pages look like to fall out.

I was tempted to spend 20 dollars for express for the 2-5 days but...Its Thursday night so weekend is near and aust post don't do weekends...

It's up on TPB. But the guy who ripped it didn't know how to encode, so it's like 20 gigs.
