Even it written by author of FMA. it has no guarantee Arslan Senki will have good tank sale.Well, I think its number 2 spot will be kicked out soon when Arslan Senki releases its volume (I wonder why it is taking so long time).
It does have guarantee for Arslan Senki to have good tank sale because Arakawa Hiromu is currentlyone of most popular mangaka in Japan.Even it written by author of FMA. it has no guarantee Arslan Senki will have good tank sale.
People buy manga just for the sake of the authors name and not for the content? It does have guarantee for Arslan Senki to have good tank sale because Arakawa Hiromu is currently one of most popular mangaka in Japan.
Well, people gonna buy the first volume for the author's name value because of the author's fans. The question will be how much it'll increase after the first volume.People buy manga just for the sake of the authors name and not for the content?
Of course. People do that with everything. It is just like people watching a movie based on the star. That doesn't guarantee sales comparable to Hagaren or Gin no Saji. Arslan is just a side project, it's not receiving the same amount of promotion as her main project. Jyuushin Enbu, her side project while writing Hagaren, sold decently well and inspired an anime. I'm sure Arslan can sell about 100,000 copies per volume. Probably not much more. Becoming the second best selling series in Betsu Mag is only realistic because the bar is set so low. I can't imagine Arslan selling any more prolifically than Jyuushin Enbu.People buy manga just for the sake of the authors name and not for the content?
Didn't Aku no Hana sell around 200k per volume. that's mean Arslan still lower than Aku no Hana if it true.Of course. People do that with everything. Nope. Aku no Hana is selling around 100,000.Didn't Aku no Hana sell around 200k per volume. that's mean Arslan still lower than Aku no Hana if it true.
I base on thisNope. Aku no Hana is selling around 100,000.
10 vol. = 2.2m so 220k per volume. It is confirmed that Aku no Hana has surpassed printing 2,200,000 copies.
This doesn't necessary mean each volume have printed 2.2 million copies. The total printing for each volume is different, like the volume 1 going to have most number of printouts and the volume 10 going to have least.10 vol. = 2.2m so 220k per volume.
I don't think publisher overprinting it.
I guess it not too many different between first and latest. This doesn't necessary mean each volume have printed 2.2 million copies. The total printing for each volume is different, like the volume 1 going to have most number of printouts and the volume 10 going to have least.
Unless you look at very long period of tank sale, like sales for several months.
Any idea for France? I think 4~6 volumes are out here.Shingeki no Kyojin : 30,000,000 (Japon). 660,000 (Usa). 530,000 (Corée du Sud). 420,000 (Taiwan ).
Is that a number for just original series or as a franchise (like including spin-offs).Shingeki no Kyojin : 30,000,000 (Japon).
