Hey! What about Naruto's, or any of Yoko Kanno's OSTs (like Cowboy Bebop, The Vision of Escaflowne, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Macros Plus, Earth Girl Arjuna, and many more)?

[Tsukisama]

Yoko Kanno does very great work, and I am a little surprised that none of her more prominent soundtracks made it on the ballot, but that is just how the nominations resulted.

Of the five options available, which one do you think is best and why?

[saladesu]

I've only watched Bleach, Durarara!! and FMA:B, so I can't say for the other two, I would pick Durarara!! because there are more tracks on it that I can actually still remember and relate to the series. For example: Akogare no Hinichijou, Hohoemi no Kage, Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Gosaro Kousaten, Dry Harbinger.

[Jorge D. Dragon]

Among these soundtracks I'd go with Bleach. Actually I can remember more soundtracks from Naruto and One Piece, but from these animes I can go only with Bleach' soundtracks.

[kamakazi_1996]

crap!!! suprised naruto and one piece never made it on here, the only one i know here is bleach....

Blood+ OST:

Spoiler: Warning: EXTREMELY SPOILERISH!

Well, I'm the proud owner of most of those soundtracks, excepting Durarara!!. I watched the first 3 episodes of Durarara!!, and didn't like it, so I didn't get the OST.

All of them have in common that the variety of styles and genres in the music they use it's awesome. But the way the music was applied to the anime was what finally made the decision.

So in the end, I had to choose between Bleach OST and Inuyasha OST.

And Inuyasha won because of the wide variety of music, although all of it is "classical". Kaoru Wada is a genius that knows really well how to "play" he's audience emotion.

By the way, D-Grayman OST should be here as well!

[saladesu]

The results are really close! Please vote and encourage your fellow members to vote for the nominee each of you thinks deserves to win! Every vote counts!

[Roflkopt3r]

Can't believe neither Ghost in the Shell nor Hellsing made it to the final five x(
