Tartaros arc, no question. Had it's downs but the ups were some of the best in the series and overall started the dark theme in FT

I support the nominations for the Tartarus Arc and the Tenrou Arc, and I'll nominate the Battle of Fairy Tail arc.

Tartarus is easily the best arc imo going from the manga. It was darker and it had more impact than a lot of the other arcs (Alvarez could learn a thing or two tbh). Tenrou Arc was a good one too, had some tense moments and a nice finish. Battle of Fairy Tail Arc was also a good one imo, it helped set up some plot devices that appeared way later in the manga (like the Dragon Slayers being from hundreds of years ago) and was a really entertaining read too.

Phantom Lord, Tower of Heaven and Battle of Fairy Tail are my favourite arcs.

Tartarus and GMG had some really good moments, but there was a lot wrong with them too. OS/Tenrou were better than those imo. The earlier arcs are better but that's just me.
