Well, I don't have to much manga to talk about, and mainly they are one-shots, but here's my list:

01. BLOOD: The Last Vampire
02. HOT MILK
03. SLUT GIRL

Yeah, that's it...

Rurouni Kenshin, I"s, and Death Note for me. All pretty good series.

Basilisk is great, too, but it's a short one. You could finish reading that in a day or so.

Death Note, since it's the only manga I've ever read that's already finished.

But Death Note is awesome, so...

good finished series....

Love Hina //laugh your ass odd, nothing more to say...

Rurouni Kenshin //awesome art and you just gotta love the artists comments about the chars and his life in between...

I''s //it's the second best love story i read so far, and the best one that is finished...

Peace Maker //great story, great art, great read

King of Thorns //i really like it. it has a great storyline, though i found one thing a bit lame in the middle... but... that would be a big spoiler...

Gun Blaze West //same artist as Rurouni Kenshin, nice story, but cancelled after 3 volumes... it's such a shame :\

Psychic Academy //same artist as FutariH, nice story, but the ending was a bit too rushed... could have more fighting scenes, though it isn't that kinda manga...

.hack//Legend of the Twilight // nice side-story to the .hack//-series.... only character-relation to the anime

Dragonball //no way to get around reading it, though from vol. 22 or so it repeats the same scheme over and over again...

ranma 1/2 // the first 15chaps still good... after that it falls into a routine bout the same as dragonball...

chobits // cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute

that would be about all of the finished series i've read and think they are worth to be read....

ps. i can't figure out why all people recommend deathnote... it just doesn't have any of the flair to it anymore after L
died
... it should just have ended....

I am guessing he is either japanese or french because both those places have complete or nearly complete Tough the first series. The second series isnt finished. It is published in Youn Jump. Also, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure isnt done yet...

I have not read that much manga that has been completed. Here is what I have so far:

Chrno Crusade
Rurouni Kenshin

Yup that is it....I seem to be attracted to storys that take forever to finish...Naruto, Inuyasha, Tsubasa etc. :scry

Ichigo 100% -Awsome series(though many didnt like the ending)
Love Hina -Greatness, kind of like at the top of the Harem type manga, seemed to set the standards
Death Note -Was amazing...Until L was like t3h Gone
Lilim Kiss -Don't know if this counts its a one shot with 2 volumes(guess its not a one shot) amazing art from the same author of Ichigo 100%

GTO

Well I also have read some other romance type Manga(there are a lot of those. Most are quite good though right now it seems the majority of mangas that are out are incomplete, at least in the Edited Manga part.

Rurouni Kenshin and Marmalade Boy are my two favourites from the Shonen and Shoujo spectrums...

Honorable mentions: Kimagure Orange Road, Sailor Moon, Code name wa Sailor V, and Death Note.

Also, I think Hajime no Ippo will be one of the greatest manga ever when it's all completed and whatever. Every chapter keeps me hooked and wanting more. I don't think I've ever read a chapter of that manga where it's left me going "Oh, well that was boring or I don't want to read this anymore." At about 740 chapters and still going, it's definitely one of the greats---but I digress...it's not completed yet....

**Forgot Hikaru no Go--awesome manga and anime.

Aishiteruze Baby - Story about a Boy taking care of his abandoned cousin. GREAT story
Saiyuki - well....the first Saiyuki is done, but the overall plot isnt....but great story about 4 journeymen.
Flame of Recca - aside from the anime, the manga is a really great story about a ninja saving his master. ;)
Mars - A shy painter girl meets the aggressive "playboy" and falls in love. very muture themes.
Togari - An Excellent Story about a human from hell sent back to capture 108 sins.

There's more....but i'd be reiterating what most people are saying.

actually, that couldnt be moe false. Maybe if you were talking about something like astro boy. Tezuka was the father of manga. Toriyama just learned well from his past.
