I've already laid out why I like Mustang so much in more than 1 post somewhere on MH (definitely in the manga awards). So without a doubt my vote goes to Mustang and I hope that this time he takes the prize.

I must say the rest are very strong contenders though, especially L (so brilliant!) and Zoro (so badass!).

EDIT: Found one of them

Instead, I stood by my own nomination and voted for Mustang. Right after the Elric brothers themselves, Mustang is the next most important protagonist of the story. He is the one who sets the Elrics on the entire journey after Ed was dejected and depressed, who convinced him to reach out for their goal and fight for it even if they had to swim across a muddy river for it (I remember him saying something along these lines). I like his character very much. I like how he stands by his beliefs and his comrades, will never leave anyone behind, and is so much more than his cocky appearance shows. Plus, his alchemic ability is great and it's always funny to see his interactions with Riza (especially when in the rain and his gloves get wet~), and even his relationship with Hughes.

My choise is Zoro. He is damn a man.
Brutal, strong, and just an awesome person and a man with a pride always protecting those around him and even being able to sacrifice himself for them.

im stuck between L and Mustang but im gonna go with L since he is a supporting character who attracts people more than the main does . he is the charm of death note

Spoiler

im one of the many who actually lost their interest in death note after L died

[OneClash]

Zoro all the way! He's definitely a strong supporting character.
