What do you believe is the best speed feat for each Sin?
And what order would you rank them for fastest to slowest?

Well, the comparison will be a tad hard considering speed is not as much of thing in this manga as it is in others. The fastest sin seems to be ban. However even with an overwhelming advantage its not like meliodas actually had the short end of the stick. At least we can make the case that having a speed advantage is not enough to give you an overall advantage so to speak as would be the case in other manga. At least in their base form it does not seem like any one sin is even superior or inferior to the others which is weird considering what we know about ban and meliodas and about their power levels in the relevant areas.

How fast do you think ban and king can be easily justified?
Mach wise...

Reflex wise, Ban is probably the fastest Sin. Otherwise, Overlord's list seems good enough. Diane is probably faster than Gowther though. The best speed feat was probably in the Motionless Man chapter, where Mel, Ban, and King kinda blitz Dawn Roar in under half a second and at a distance.

The best speed feat period though is Galan's dodging Merlin's spell.

Diane faster that Gowther? That's not possible, maybe human-sized Diane, but not the normal-sized one. I agree that Galan dodging Merlin's spell is the best speed feat.

Meliodas kicking Galan in the abdomen is probably the best feat shown by any Sin. I mean, he was a few meters away and he kicked Galan so fast that the latter could not react.

Why not? Diane has never shown to be slow or sluggish in any way. If anything he has been shown to be very nimble and agile. Her speed is probably considerable. It would also be a tad weird if her human sized form has more speed than her larger one. I doubt the manga intends to be logical about this. If it was there wouldn't be an amount of power that would make her plausible to begin with.

Human sized Diane might not be entirely faster, she'd just be more mobile/agile since she has a smaller frame. Her speed isn't apparent when she's a giant but it's clearer as a human. Asides that, I don't see how. Another issue is, what are we defining speed as here? Is it just how fast one can move from one area to another using whatever means or simply running speed? Because things could get confusing. For instance, Merlin can teleport at instantaneous speeds, making her the fastest to be able to move about. Her running speed is probably nothing to write home about and her reaction to attacks might not be that fantastic either. Diane threw Mel, King, Ban and Gowther all the way to Liones and they were a considerable distance away. It was certainly faster than any other sin could manage(asides Teleportation). If we use that as an example, she could probably gather enough power in her legs to leap much farther than the other sins can run, sort of like Galan did. Add that to her longer strides which could make a pretty big difference if she's running

Human Sized Diane intercepted Gowther before he was able to fire off a shot at Eli and then dodged a barrage of arrows later in the fight. She was still physically more powerful than Gowther, so she was likely faster as well. We've also seen that she's about as fast as Mel at that size during their little fight in Byzel. As for her Giant form, she showed a pretty good feat of speed when she saved Mel from Helbram after she regained Gideon, appearing right behind him at a moment's notice. Faster than any physical feat of speed shown by Gowther. She also kept up with Mel earlier in the series at that size when they were under that illusion by one of Fang Knights. She just has the misfortune of being a big ass target most of the time.

As for the topic, I assume we are just discussing the best feat of physical/reaction speed of the individual characters, so Merlin's teleporting spell probably doesn't count. Neither does Diane's tossing of Mel, Ban, and Gowther.

1. Meliodas- most prominent speed feat what he did to Galan in chapter 135 XD
2. Merlin- teleportation, it's pretty fast
3. King- when he was racing against Helebram in the side chapter
4. Escanor (weak)- despite being weakened he managed to dodge the vampire king's attacks for what seemed to be an hour at least.
5. Ban- Ban vs Meliodas in the byzel fight festival showcased Ban was faster than Meliodas's base form.
6. Diane- When in human form she is pretty fast, not to mention when she ran to Edinburgh she got there rather quickly.
7. Gowther- the most impressive display of speed i have seen Gowther do is dodge certain attacks and fire off quick light arrows.

Without Merlin's teleportation counting she ranks at #7 because her physical abilities and reactions are amongst the slowest of the sins, heck even night time Escanor has better reactions than that.

About the second question: Which of the sins do you think classify under lightning timers?

I would say Meliodas's sword slashing speed and Merlin's teleportation are the only two things that can compare to that

Non of the SINs are faster than instant teleportation so Gluttony ought to be the fastest. Though Gluttony's reaction is slow as shit compared to most SINs thus, the speed she's able to teleport is mostly dependent of her ability to react fast enough.

Wrath has the fastest physical & reaction speed now but I think that might change once Greed also gains his power up so it's kinda unfair to compare him with the other SINs ATM.

King is fast but not like Greed.

I think the list is as follows for travel speed

Gluttony w/teleport > Greed > Sloth > Wrath > Pride > Envy > Lust > Gluttony wo/teleport.

We do see king blitz ban multiple times...
Then we have him dodging ban a bunch of times...

First time we saw them meet king embedded chastiefol into his chest before he could react...
He then dodged ban easily..
He dodged and beat guila and Jericho while ban was barely keeping up with them with the demon blood...

Ban also dodged and took King by surprise at times.

Now this is discounting the newly powered up Meliodas since let's face it, he's clearly leagues faster than any of the sins currently (with the possible exception of noontime Escanor, though since he seems unbothered to exert himself in such a manner I will conclude Meliodas is the fastest and Escanor's power is simply overwhelming physical strength and spirit. Even his sacred treasure, the Divine Axe... Ritta?... seems to epitomize pure striking power and physical strength over being fast.)

Of the six well-established sins, I will list who I think is strongest to weakest in terms of movement speed as well as reflexes/reaction time. My list will focus most readily on the siege of Liones, in which all six sins participated and displayed what I feel is their full potential (at that time). Movement speed may disregard the abilities of sacred treasures.

Movement Speed

  1. Ban: Explicitly stated to be quicker, at least offensively, than base form Meliodas, who has had pretty much the best showing in terms of speed.
  2. Meliodas: Can fight on par with and still find time to be offensive against two foes of Great Holy Knight level power. If he brings out his demon powers or has access to his sacred treasure Lostvayne, he will top this list instead, even in his depowered state.
  3. Gowther/King (with telekinesis): Quick enough to be on par with Great Holy Knight level powers.
  4. Diane: Even as a giant, she is fast enough to respond to attacks by much smaller Holy Knights, but she is incapable of catching the likes of Dreyfus or Hendricksen and can be overwhelmed by speedier foes.
  5. Merlin: Of all the sins, King excluded, she has likely the weakest power level in the 'strength' category. As such, physically, she cannot be capable of great feats of speed. Even though her teleportation is instant, it is a spell, and I therefore can't count it as a feat of speed.
  6. King (Physically): His speed is not of the physical kind, but rather his advanced telekinesis. His sacred treasure Chastiefol can perform attacks at a frightening speed, but that doesn't change the fact that his physical speed is almost nil. Since his attack speed is the result of his magic, same as Merlin's, I do not consider it as speed in the same sense as that of the other sins..

Reflexes/Reaction Speed

  • Meliodas: There's no doubt that to me, he has the quickest reflexes of the six sins. He is provably able to respond to the attacks of multiple top tier Holy Knights at once. His fighting skill, both unarmed and with the sword, seems to be most refined of all the sins, because let's face it, he has had at least 3,000 years to practice it. Meliodas' is demonstrably fastest and most efficient at reacting to attacks, even from the likes of Ashen Hendricksen.
  • King: While his physical speed is negligible, his mental reflexes are amazing, enabling him to defend against attacks of Great Holy Knight level powers with relative ease. Provided he puts his mind to it.
  • Ban: I would put him higher, but having rewatched and reread the anime recently, Ban gets suckerpunched a lot. Well, he's immortal, so suckersmashed and suckerbisected is probably a better way to look at it. He has the quick reflexes and physical acumen to dodge many things, but his apathetic approach to battle and his overconfidence in his own immortality tends to slow him down. Once he stops being a tree and finally finds his sacred treasure, the Holy Rod Courechouse, his parameters may increase to match.
  • Gowther: He is nowhere near slow, but his momentary victory against Dreyfus was a very pyrrhic one, and he ended up paying for his lack of speed.
  • Diane/Merlin: Not sure which order they should go in.

We were told that a SIN's sacred treasure brings out the best in them.

Sloth has access to his weapon but Greed doesn't. & unlike Greed the Immortal, Sloth actually has to give a damn about combat efficiency as he doesn't enjoy the same luxury of being an immortal. Yet in spite of this, Greed also kept up with Sloth & even surprised him with his speed.

Have we seen anything to suggest that chasteifol increase king's speed?
A weapon doesn't always mean increase in speed..
Gowther has his and is slow
Diane ain't getting any faster lugging hers around
Merlin doesn't seem to gain a speed boost
Meliodas got a speed. Boost from his powers not from his weapon...

Saying ban doesn't have a weapon doesn't justify putting him above king in speed...
yes ban has speed but in the fights between them king has she on more ability to dodge ban that ban has shown ability to dodge king...
Ban has to be prepared before he can dodge chasteifol

Mentioning Sloth's secret treasure once again reinforces my point.

NNT chapter 49 titled "Forced Retreat". Hendrickson's soldiers were forced to retreat as Envy unleashed destruction like no other. The author deemed it necessary to inform us - the readers - through his characters that such astonishing power - envy's power - was drawn out only through her secret treasure.

Sloth's speed isn't physical, it's magical (telekinesis).
He seemed more impressive than some of the other SINs initially as he practically cuddles & sleeps with his treasure 24/7. A weapon that happens to accentuates his magical (telekinesis) ability.

Incorrect. This was actually a topic on this forum for a bit, but King's Sacred Treasure doesn't increase any of his powers, in fact, it's the other way around. King's Disaster is what pulls out the power from Chastiefol. His sacred treasure does not increase his telekinetic abilities. Chastiefol is made from the Sacred Tree of the Fairy Realm and Disaster, as explained in the chapter before last, has the ability to control the natural state of organic matter. Chastiefol is organic, the tree it comes from has a number of defensive and offensive qualities, and Disaster has the ability to manipulate organic things in a number of way. Aside from moving the Spear from one place to another, his telekinetic abilities have nothing to do with his weapon and vice versa.
