Discussion Best villain

First of all I don't know if this thread already exist, tried to find one and I didn't.

Anyway, I was wondering now that he have been introduced to so many villains/antagonists in this new arc, which villain do you think is the best. I'm not talking about strongest, but which villain got you the most excited or still does, the coolest, most unique et cetera. All in all which villain do you think is the best.

To me it's Hisoka, simply because he fools me into believing he's not a villain. That charisma is dangerous. Still, though, this is a villain that gets turned on by watching two boys, not because he wants to have sex with them, but because of their potential

He infiltrated the most dangerous organisation/group, a group even the Zoldycks try to have as little contact as possible with only to fight its leader. And yes, he also turns him on.

Hisoka is the best villain to me, which one is yours?

So firstly, who do we have there:

Pariston
The fourth prince of kakin and possibly his brothers
Possibly Beyond Netero
possibly Hisoka
possibly Illumi
possibly chrollo

If it is all time villains, we can get genthru and meruem to the mix.

Hisoka might not be a villain, because he is usually not even detrimental to the protagonists cause in the plot.
He helped gon and killuah and kurapica more often than he acted against them (greed island, york shin arc. Heaven's arena. The only time he REALLY acted against their cause was in the election arc).

We did not see a lot of the newer villains yet, but i do think the prince of kakin is promising.

I mean, we have those villains which people like, like chrollo and hisoka. They are cool and creepy and charismatic, but really, people are more on their side than against them.

Meruem was some fresh air because he intimidated people by being perfect and just over the top strong, but in the end, meruem was not evil and a lot of his thoughts and actions were just logical, even if they had to be stopped from a human's viewpoint.

Togashi wanted to show us that humanity is the rotten and evil compared to meruem's cruel, but fair thoughts.
I think he will show that to us via the fourth prince and pariston.

There is a reason why every prince of kakin corresponds with a deadly sin and why pariston is a troll 'just because'.
And while pariston is a 'love to hate' villain through and through, the fourth does not seem to be.

If you wanna introduce a love to hate villain, then you won't let him dismember some women right when you introduce him.

This is the first time HxH gets a serious villain without redeeming factors such as cameradery (like genthru, plus genthru just played the game like everyone else, not like he'd be the only one willing to kill others in GI) or just being funny.

This will make a fitting adversary for kurapica, who is a 'no bullshit' guy himself.

I'm still hoping for the 4th prince to fight Hisoka in the DC. That prince loves watching the hopes and passion of people's eyes fade as he kills them, and wants to kill people with as much potential in life as possible.

Hisoka fights people who have mastered that full potential, or trains, in a way, people who do have vast potential. It would be so sick if these two fought later on down the line. I absolutely love Hisoka and completely agree with everything you said TC.

I love how you mentioned the Zoldycks stay as far away from the spiders as possible, yet Hisoka pretends to be a member just so he can fight their leader. I agree with you, Hisoka is overall the most interesting character and I feel near the end of the series he will take the lives of some characters we care a lot about and will die against a super strong opponent.

Hisoka is not even a villian at this point.. He is like a neutral side hoping for good fights.
And for the best villian, maybe meruem but he turned out good.. xD

Genthru is best villain because he was not shades of grey and was actually evil. You actually wanted to see Gon kick his ass, where as other villain I don't because they are sort of good guy more than villain.

The King remains the villain with the most negative effect on the other characters. Genthru cared for his comrades, Meruem intended to kill his a number of times.

Meruem's negative effect was gradually fading away near the end. But he still remains the best.

Meruem is by far the most character developed villain I've ever experienced in ANY series, not just manga. I mean seriously... the moment Meruem bit the little kid's head off I never EVER imagined I would almost be in tears in that villains final episode. This series is top notch.

Hisoka is the first main antagonist to be revealed and he is purely the best for numerous reasons but he's Gon first hurdle he couldn't leap and still hasn't. Hisoka is definitely #1. It's funny that he is a bad guy but not full time villan as seeing he has vague relationship with Gon and Co.

Meruem I must say was developed very very well. His Half Ant/Human Psyche His connection and interactions with Komugi; His character was awesome a perfect balance to go with his immense unclaculated power...If Hisoka wasn't so great he'll be #1

Partison ah man he's just so different and honestly irritating when you look at his face but understand his POV. Partison is a deadly villian he's like a composed Joker from the Dark Knight put into the HxH world. He's just fantastic as the super witty, I'm a bad guy but you'll never guess it or catch me red handy who's powerful for numerous reasons...If Hisoka wasn't #1 from the beginning and if he's able to top Meruem character development and power scale or interesting ability he can take #2

Illumi, Killua's older twisted assasin brother who uses sinister Nen needles to control Ppl. His only friend is Hisoka a killer psychopath, Buisness associates with Chrollo leader of the Spiders. And is crazy even considering his lineage..He probably the purest evil villian on the list.

4th Prince; He's new to the game but already has made his demented stamp of evil. He's in possession of large amounts of Kurta eyes and even released a video about it ???? could've a spider affiliate...But he also kills women very gruesomely and is a habit of his..And not to mention the readiness to kill his fellow siblings to acquire the Throne.
