I like the old site better

The new chapters were always easy to see on the front page of the site, so i was able to tell if new chapters were out or not..

Now on the front page, everything is being flooded by redone old chapters

I know there are filters but the site just became really annoying to navigate

If you go here (Download Manga > Latest Chapters), which isn't a filter, it only lists the highest chapter numbers so it won't list any of the reposted old releases unless it's the highest numbered chapter. That should let you know what's new that came out.

ya but even then i still have to check if those chapters are this weeks release or not

in the old site u hardly ever saw last week's release at all

Well, if you are a fan of the manga:

You'll get only the newest Edited Mangas on top in the 'shoutbox'/announcements:

And since they only show the release for 5 days, you know it's new.

Also, if you're not sure if you read the release from another group, you could just click on the raw link in "RAWS:" and it'd give you a RTS of the manga.

Remember that for the link that I gave you that goes to here (Download Manga > Latest Chapters), it only lists the latest chapter and if it's not the highest chapter number, it won't be listed so you're guaranteed that it's not last week's, (since you could see it from the post date) especially if it's a WSJ series (e.g. Naruto, Bleach, One Piece - the popular manga). Then again, you could always use the popular filter on the latest chapter page (Download Manga > Popular Chapters) (here) which lists the newest chapters of ONLY the most popular series.
