No, unfortunately. Would've been fun, but no one knew I was going there, apparently. I would've liked to see my GF's reaction when some total stranger came up and started talking to me. But I guess it'll have to be another time.

The trip was great, at least. Lots of walking (and aching legs). Lots of shopping. Lots of London.

Glad you enjoyed London. I love it because it's such a friendly city towards it's tourists if you compare it with Paris, Budapest, Johannesburg, New Jersey etc.

What I mean is that you can just relax, calm down, do some casual shopping, take walks and just "be". Something I never could've done in any of the cities above, nor did I really want to either because of the sights etc.

Anyway, my point is that it's one of the best cities in Europe if you just want to relax a couple of days. It's like an English version of home, only entirely different.
