In all honesty, I think Bonney is just Oda unveiling a bit more of the same character archtype that he's been talking about for quite a while: the special child that ends up being nurtured by a "natural enemy" and breaks a cycle of some sort.
She's a bit like Aisa, Law, Ace, Tama, Sanji, Momonosuke (?) and probably Luffy and Imu. (these are just a few that come to mind)
Considering she's actually a child, I'd say the similarities with Tama are the coolest: had been waiting for a savior in Ace/Nika, concluding it's actually Luffy and seeing him as a big brother. Bonney is actually a descendant of celestial dragons, but a Buccaneer slave that eventually made it to King is her fatherly figure, while Tama is a Kurozumi descendant that was being raised by a Kozuki ruler that eventually became a fugitive. Bonney has control over an army of cyborgs, shifting the tide of the conflict at hand, while Tama had control over an army of artificial zoans, eventually shifting the tide of the conflict.
I think she'll probably stick around for a bit, but both her parents were revolutionaries.
Finally a woman (other than Pudding) that might be fond of Sanji!
Post-timeskip Sanji has been scoring wins with all the princess archtype characters except for Shirahoshi in FI (the nosebleed gag was getting out of hand): Viola in Dressrosa, Pudding in WCI, Robin in Wano, Bonney in Egghead. There's also Nami, who'll keep kicking his ass but is still the main point of attention, and she did show more concern than usual during WCI. You also have the Germa cook and the oiran from Wano, so he's steadily shifting the narrative around him.
