The art may not be good, but it fits with the mood Oda's trying to give with OP, so that's one excuse down.

It's not an excuse, it's true. Oda wants to convey humor and keep us relaxed even during the fights, according to Wikipedia, thus he draws the way he does.

Well I do love Vinland Saga, Vagabond, Kokou no Hito, Nononono, Nurarihyon no Mago, Gamaran, Cage of Eden, Rookies, and Rokudenashi Blues But those are just the ones I'm currently reading I like the most.

I read others like Naruto and Bleach even though I've long lost interest.
