How do you think the Great Warriors and Zahard compared to current Baam when they were C-Rank Regulars? We know that Baam's growth rate is an anomaly even among the Irregulars considering how much Data Eduan and Data Zahard were impressed by it. Baam was also trained by Evankhell, one of the strongest High Rankers for 2 years.

In the Great Warriors' favour, they climbed before the current system was established so they took the Guardian's tests, which most likely were more difficult and stimulated their growth more than the conventional tests that are being held nowadays.

Based on all of this, how strong do you think they were and how do you think they compared to Baam? Was Baam much stronger than them or they could still compare to him as in the Hidden Floor?

There was no ranking back then since Zahard and his companions are the pioneers.

Baam managed to draw with Data Zahard who was the undisputed strongest so I'd put his growth on par with him. All of them were gifted but it's after the Revolution that their talents blossomed.

But unlike Zahard and the others Baam has his absorption(?) ability. In certain situation he can technically grow faster but he lacks control.

I don't think bam's current growth rate is anywhere near what it was during the hidden floor. At the time bam was undergoing his revolution which basically allowed him to tap into the multitude of powers he had within him and had absorb. But immediately after that we saw bam training with the god of guardians and he was told he had about reached his limit and had as much power as he could handle at the time. Since then bam trained his skill and physical strength with evankhel... Basically, bam trained his foundations if you will. but not at the rate he grew during the hell train where power wise he went from strong d class to probably high ranker (though skill wise he was nowhere near even a ranker).

Baam back at the hell train would get his boots smoked by any high ranker.

I agree, at that point bam simply wouldn't win against a high ranker. My point was specifically about the amount of raw power he had at the time, which was probably in the high ranker ballpark. Obviously not any high ranker of course. Basically bam was a toddlers with a bazooka.

There is no way that even with the thorn ignited to its limit that baam at the raw power of a high ranker. Are you high? Maybe, and that's a huge maybe, he has that kind of raw power now in season 3 but in the he'll train arch? Just no

Why? We saw bam during the battle at the last station... His power actually was enough to kill any ranker there (he just didn't/couldn't) hit anyone and he actually managed to further injure kallavan. Bam just couldn't use or control his power with any degree of competence relevant to rankers or high rankers at the time.

Baam at the Last Station managed to hurt a weakened EoB Kallavan, something that he himself claims not even High Rankers (he's more than likely only talking about conventional high Rankers but still) can do.

So yeah, Baam's raw power while having the Thorn Stabbed and using his strongest skill was greater than conventional High Rankers in the Last Station.

On another note, I think the Great Warriors as C-Rank were already scratching the High Ranker realm (especially Zahard).

In terms of firepower alone, Baam was already above the average High Ranker paygrade since he managed to scratch Kallavan. In fact, I'd rather argue that even without Thorn ignition (when he stabs himself), he was at least close to HR level in this area since his BM style - Flare wave explosion was strong enough to completly erase elite Rankers like Charlie or the vice altar director just by grazing them.
Ofc, it doesn't mean that he was HR level and due to the lack in other stats, I'd rather argue that even against average Rankers, he had a low chance of securing a win back then in the manhwa.

Now, compared to Jahad and the 10 GWs, it's hard to say. The time factor isn't to be underestimated, it really depends on how much time they spent between the hell train and the 52th floor. As noted by Edahn, unlike Baam, they trained their shinsu qualities for a long time, they completed revolution and already mastered Shinwonryuu. Added to the fact that they didn't start from scratch (Baam was literally like a baby in s1), it's understandable how much of a gap separated Baam and Edahn/Jahad prior to the quality/revolution trainings. Regardless, both Jahad and Edahn could confirm Baam's potential after witnessing the final fight in the hidden floor. Jahad's opinion for instance changed multiple times proportionally to Baam's performance during their battle :
-After unleashing the Thorn + Orb-Shinwonryuu, he noted that with enough time, Baam may become a threat.
-After going full revolution and bringing the b&r thryssas power, he said that Baam definitely has the potential to reach his level on the outside meanwhile Edahn started believing in the fate that Hansung was talking about (Baam defeating Jahad).
-After using Thorn ignition, he was simply stunned which caused fast heartbeats due to experiencing something new.
Ofc, Jahad and Edahn's opinions were also influenced by the fact that Baam was literally canon fodder material to them prior to the training. Acheiving this much growth within just a month was an otherworldly feat even from their perspective.

Another factor is the age gap, Jahad and the 10 FHs lived for several tens of thousands of years and it's very unlikely for ToG to cover something even remotely close to such a massive time interval, which means that Baam's growth should be faaaaar faster. Furtheremore, between Jahad and the 10 FHs, there're differences, Jahad should be close to 3 times the power of the weakest FH IMO.

Overall, there're simply too many factors to consider and answering this kind of questions isn't an easy matter at all.

It's pretty likely that the family heads are nowadays stronger than they were when they climbed the tower but I would also argue the most likely scenario is that the bulk of their growth actually happened very close to the beginning of their stay at the tower. Not necessarily when they finished their climb of course but still relatively close to that. Which also implies an absurd growth rate on their end.

Controlling your power is part of being rankers and high rankers as well...baam during the last station arc going all out is probably around advanced ranker level. He wasnt high ranker level and wouldnt beat even the 500th ranked high ranker. He'll I doubt he could beat any advanced rankers. And its implied he injured kallavan because of his irregular status
