I expect the same battles as everyone but also the truth about what Meliodas said to Zeldris. It's almost for sure is about Gelda and I expect Nakaba to reveal if Meliodas really killed her and if he didn't, if there's a chance she'll come back.
Also seems Cusack knows about it too, can't wait to see how he ruins everything.

It'll be hype for a few chapters because Escanor is back, Merlin is showing her true combat prowess, and Zeldris and Ludo are finally fighting seriously.

And then he'll fuck it up somehow.

Hold up right there, yes he is removing his curse, but also Elizabeth's...doesn't that go against the definition of self-serving? Also elizabeth wanting him to suffer more and not giving any solid answer to breaking this curse is evil, especially since she has the better end of the curse

You mean Ludo promising to help end her curse if she come back with him or something like that? You really believed that? Yes, I was wrong to say that Mel wanting to end the curse was self serving but it was still selfish. The demons are being killed left and right, especially their strongest force the Ten Commandments and the fodder(as much as I dislike using this word) demons are being destroyed by Hauzer's and Dreyfus' forces last time I checked. They need a capable leader who will lead them and keep them from dying out, not a leader who was being kept in Purgatory and was only interested in his eldest son's life or a leader who only wanted to be a leader for the power associated with the position and wanting to save more his girlfriend's life than the well-being of his own race.

I don't really want to argue with you. So I'm just explaining myself. Peace!

Also, the result of the poll is making me giggle. Most in this forum seems to have lost all hope for a great upcoming arc because of the last two chapters of Mael's arc.

Mael had overstayed his welcome long before then.

30 chapters and 10 transformations with this guy.

250K+ King out of freaking nowhere, and the abrupt lackluster conclusion just put the nail in the coffin. He talked to him for like 5 seconds and he was saved. That was the resolution of this saga?

And why was 250K+ King necessary in the first place? Gowther could have just used invasion on him the first time when he grabbed him and tried to self-destruct. 250K+ King is completely unecessary.

And why was Diane even there in the first place? So King could go "I will protect my puss-Diane!!!"

Derrerie's abrupt change from wanting to avenge Monspiet to wanting to save his killer and her sudden death. for shock value.

Mael becoming less interesting after the Estarossa reveal then before. As Estarossa he was a entertaining crazy lunatic. As Mael he's a giant creepy stalker crybaby.

Tarmiel and Sariel deaths. Nakaba completely wasted two characters there for cheap shock value.

Elizabeth doing jackshit as usual despite the fact Mael is supposed to be her friend.

Nakaba having Sariel imply beating Mael will be a team effort only to not follow through and have King solo.

The entire arc was bad.

THIS! With what happened in this Mael arc, it’s not surprising that quite a bit of people lost hope in the Camelot arc being good. This arc or miniarc was probably the worst one in the series, at least for me.

In my opinion this arc wasn't really bad until the last couple (let's say 3) chapters.
What I truly hate about this conclusion is that it put the nails even deeper in the coffin of bad things (mostly in term of writing) Nakaba is creating since the end of the Dolor and Gloxinia tournament.

If it was the first time... Oh well, too bad for Mael I guess... But enough is enough, Nanatsu no Taizai feels more and more like a really generic shonen and lost its salt.

Meh and disappointing arc, also get scared that it was the final arc and got trolled with the epilogue chapters.
