I also felt the rush, but I did not really expect maturing or character development for Denji as he showcases typical male brain that only grows with responsibility, where he did not have anything to be responsible in the final episodes afaik. From the part 1, two of my fav characters were Quanxi and Kishibe, where in part 2 there was no Kishibe and Quanxi was like fanserviced only with no real impact in the story. Octopus devil contracted guy did justice to his hype so that was fine.
There was also one more thing similar to part 1: we were dramatically hyped for the Gun Devil, then, we hinted partially on even Kishibe willing to face Makima to kill while he confronts Quanxi, then we were out fighting Makima. For the second part, we had one-by-one's with Aging Devil, War Devil, and then we were hyped to see Death Devil, like so dramatically. Then, we actually saw critically hyped Gun Devil and many more including Nuclear Bombs were for War Devil ONLY (while it was weird they were strengthening ONLY her imo). War Devil was more like Weapon Devil imo, and anyone afraid of Chainsaw Man might be strengthening War Devil too. Finally, we end up solving the issue by removing the absurd strength and fearsomeness of chainsawman from the picture. Famine devil was a let down, and Justice Devil might have been worked on more, but I actually liked this second part as well.
