Kabuto is greatly coloured by u. Fantastic job. I like the way u colour the background too. How do u do the vertical lines? Do u just use basic brushes to draw those lines and then smudge it or what? Working on mine. I think this is going to be one of my best colorings yet.

It's probably the best coloring I've done. And it took forever to.

Comments for improvement appreciated.

Hair and the black clothes need to be coloured. The opacity is too low. U can use higher opacity to colour it. Make the forehead protector shiny, add more shading to the vest and u are done. U can still do better.

Sure thing:

-select the are you want with polygonal lasso or whatever you want

-fill with black and unselect (ctrl+d)

-add a (rather big) motion blur (i used vertical)

-duplicate layer and add some (a lot) noise to it

-then move it under the original layer (that doesn´t have any noise)

-add another motion blur to the klayer with noise


That´s it, then you can play with opacities and lightin of the layers until it looks like how you want it to.

WOW....... that is really cool, nixuboy! i love all the effects you put into the backround, also the texture of the clothes and the mix of cell shading and smudging (so to speak) and...... tutorial? can we get the link to this tutorial too? O_O
