Chapter 401, page 16, Sasuke, UPDATED!

i had fun... wanted something slightly dramatic. first time painting waves... i was lazy, but it turned out okay... ^^;

I think it looks great lee-nus! only adjustment i can think of is that you should have probably removed the lines from the rocks, and used light and dark lines to define the edges etc. But that would have undoubtedly taken some time and, like u said , u were lazy lol

Really cool background Lee-nus, good job. The sunset looks awesome and it was a good idea to make the background that way. I'd also like to compliment you on your fan art of Madara Uchiha in your deviant gallery, I really like the dark colors you used on that one.

not bad, as a whole, it doesn't quite tie in together.

theres too much elements used that its quite distracting.

1 - the clouds emit a color radiance
2 - sasuke doesnt tie in with the color scheme
3 - the rocks throw the image off since its the only one with lines

haha i think every1's done the shadow behind sasuke like that... which i let you all know, is the wrong way of applying it X_D...

worked the ground a little more, changed the palette i used for sasuke... its better now, thanks to DD... ^^;;

This looks fenomenal! I love the clouds and rocks most. Mind sharing what brush you used for the clouds? I tried apply a simular style earlier but couldn't get it right.

hehe, its nothing fancy. i was just playing with the default airbrush, lots of eyedropping, lol xD

Ahh this one looks even more spectacular. I love what you've done to the rocks, you did it better than I imagined myself.

Besides what DD is saying about the water, the only other thing that I think could be improved was Sasuke's arms, the hue kinda blends in too well with the bg imo, so it makes it kind of hard to discern the hands from the sky. So I'm thinking you could like run a darker line over the edges so that its easier to differentiate.

Oh btw I've always wondered, is that you in your display pic?
