About character names
Kirimi here~ <3
This thread is for you to discuss the names of the Reborn characters. It can be anyone from Vongola to Varia to Millefiore! The Millefiore certainly have interesting names. :3 Below are some past discussions.
Have fun!
This just came across my mind today. Are the Varia based on the seven deadly sins?
Lussuria - Luxuria is latin for Lust.
Belphegor - Belphegor is named after the demon of the same name, who is apparently known for being the demon associated with Sloth.
Levi a Than - Levi is named after the demon Leviathan, who is apparently known for being the demon associated with Envy.
Marmon - Probably named after Mammon, demon associated with Greed. Marmon also mentions money that he has saved up.
Gola Moska - Gula is the latin word for Gluttony.
Superbi Squalo - Superbia is the latin word for Pride. Squalo also boasts a lot.
XANXUS - We all know XANXUS's Wrath.
Also, that would make the guardians associated with the seven holy virtues:
Ryohei - Chastity.
Gokudera - Diligence.
Lambo - Kindness.
Chrome/Mukuro - Charity.
Hibari - Temperance.
Tsuna - Forgiveness.
