Discussion Could Naruto and Sasuke eventually surpass Hashirama and Madara?

Serious question.

Personally, I don't think so.

First, in order to even think of facing Madara, Sasuke would have to acquire the Rinnegan and Wood Release, which is impossible for him.

Also, Naruto is also as strong as he is because he has control of the most powerful tailed beast... just like Madara in the past, and Hashirama still defeated him (although he didn't have Wood Release and the Rinnegan back then).
