Discussion Could Zeldris beat Escanor?

After Escanor defeated Meliodas and a cut away is shown of each sin. In hawks eye you can's see a shadow that looks like the Demon and king and we later learn that the demon king is using Hawk to spy on the living realm. The Demon King saw The One and didn't warn Zeldris of it later. This likely means that with the power the Demon king gave to Zeldris. Even The One can't beat him

No. Meliodas beat Zeldris with little difficulty, whereas Escanor was standing up to Meliodas even prior to becoming The One. Sure, he was overwhelmed, but managed to make Meliodas bleed regardless.

The Demon King can likely easily defeat Escanor, though.

The Demon King most likely didn't warn Zeldoris of Escanor, because:

1) He doesn't care. His goal is to make Meliodas the next Demon King.

2) Escanor isn't a threat - after all, the power is a portion of the Supreme Deity and he probably understands how it functions.

3) Zeldoris or Meliodas can defeat him.

I doubt zeldris has a chance against escanor. He couldn't even hurt a maimed archangel. Meanwhile the one defeated am mel easily. Zeldris could grow stronger later on but what we have seen so far suggests morning escanor would defeat zeldris with a sneeze.

From what we've seen, he wouldn't stand a chance. Mel was able to restrain Zeldris with just his PoD when Zeldris attempted to get the drop on him. Escanor was able to go blade to blade with Mel and even got a decent lick in on him before even turning into The One.

Yeah. I'm not saying that Zeldris will beat him for sure since we haven't seen how powerful his magic sealing is, but i think that people misunderstand Zeldris' ability to seal magic with Estarossa's darkness covering up Escanor's sun.They are two different things.

yeah and since it seem designed to cover and seal powerup's, Escanor grace is logically useless.

The only way Escanor can be killed right now is if they actually think ahead and strike before morning even begins. We saw night Escanor get skewered by Gloxinia's random vine attack during the festival.

But give him the chance to power to morning, and only thing that could beat him power wise is gone on the TC side, and would prolly have to relly on the effect of a Commandment.

Mael probably felt hate towards Estarossa and lost all power due to that. What is there stopping Escanor from feeling so little empathy or being so pridefull that he ends up falling to a Commandment. Imagine a Zeldoris with 5 Commandments in effect, we only know what half of them actually do, easily the other half could catch Escanor off guard and ruin his day.

Power level wise there is no way, but I think that Zeldris has some hax magic and he still has many tricks up his sleeve one of wich I hope he uses to sucker puch meliodas and (try to) become Demon king

To me zeldris being able to seal away escanor's power is a huge stretch. He did seal dolor's magic but that seems substantially different from what he would need to do to escanor to win. Escanor's power manifests mostly as insane strength, just what he did against dolor shouldn't be enough to deal with pure strength.

That's a 53,000 difference in power. Escanor got completly trashed and was literally toyed with by a 28,000 difference. What makes you think Zeldris will be any different?

Yep, and even if Zeldris can seal Escanor's magic, he only has a chance of beating him if he doesn't buff up to the 114k form.

Even before eleven Estarossa (who is comparable to Zeldris according to Cusack) and Escanor were more or less evenly matched. Escanor had better strength, but Estarossa had more powerful magic. If they're already that close before 11 then Zel's getting wrecked. He wouldn't even be able to track Escanor, let alone touch him

He already took a Pride flare from 114k Escanor with apparently no damage.He's not getting fodderized.

Some more points in his favour-
Zeldris was specifically highlighted to give Mel as much entertain as 114k Escanor.
His 2nd stage demon mark,power sealing and curses that would turn Escanor into a vegetable.

It would be similar to Estarossa vs Escanor.He's below Escanor in raw power but makes up for it with his abilities
