Welp, this thread is settled. Zeldris, like everyone else is fodder next to escanor's might. Zeldris' struggle was cute for a second but that is all it was. Were it not for chandler zeldris wouldn't even have the chance to recover for this fight.

Can't exactly call a even mathc for a while then break through, near escape, suffered a blow but was still in the fight and about to receive finisher a stomp. Which is the point. Escanor would have won, but only by the skin of his teeth and if Zeldris had gotten out of range and got his spell back up. Then he could have outlasted The One and beat Escanor.

The thread says Escanor, not The One. The answer is and has always been the same as with every other non-deity character: it depends on the time.
