Nope..i’ve only started on One Piece yesterday....Fullmetal alchemist - on & off, but I’ve completed the anime.

Why do you think FuruBa was so popular despite the art being kind of... meh? >.>

Hey! It was one of the earlier manga i read. Back then, I think its innocent content and the tragic story in it appeals. Everyone is bind by their karmas, and they have very failed relationships, or sometimes twisted mindset, because of this karma thing... It could also be because we want to know whether Kyo will break away from the curse and whether Tohru will end up with him..We kind of feeeel for the characters, I guess...

Clamp?? Ermmm...I read a few of them....and though i followed XXX, TSR, but somehow, it's not that addictive yet.....so i guess its not really my cup ot tea...something is missing there...maybe not enough violence??!!.....sorry..

You know... Ai Yazawa... I didn't know it was the Nana mangaka at the time I read your post XD

While I wouldn't call her the best artist I've seen in manga I do agree that she's the best in that particular genre I've seen. Very full of drama.

You know... Ai Yazawa... I didn't know it was the Nana mangaka at the time I read your post XD

While I wouldn't call her the best artist I've seen in manga I do agree that she's the best in that particular genre I've seen. Very full of drama.

so I tend to promote Ai Yazawa's works more than the others, it's more realistic and heart-breaking in a way.

I prefer Hachi, her weakness is understandable. She seems so irritating, weak & immature in the beginning, but later throughout the manga, we can see how much she has grown. Even her choice in choosing - you know who- just baffles most readers. But to accept such an arrangement, actually takes a lot of courage to do so. She had the choice to act like a spoilt girl -whine & fuss about it, but she didn't. Have you read NANA too? If yes, you should check out this.

As for strong headed Nana, I think she has too much pride in her, is not a bad thing..but it makes Ren feels obsolete...

Takehikio Inoue is currently my favorite manga artist ( Vagabond ). I also consider Kentaro Miura's later work in Berserk to be amazing too (though I wasn't crazy about his art early on, he's improved greatly over the last 20 years...)

For shonen I suppose I still enjoy Takeshi Obata's work ( Death Note, Hikaru no Go, Blue Dragon ) and of course Kishimoto Masahi the most...

But enough of that, this isn't my thread xD

regarding pink, its a cool color (if for no other reason than that pink starbursts are the yummiest).
Purple i'm kinda undecided on and think i only have 1 purple shirt, but haven't worn it in a while.
Green and red are my favorite colors, but i'm only allowed to wear dark shades of them.
so i end up wearing lots of blacks, blues, and browns

Nami, i must repeat des' question from above.

Ai Yazawa's previous works - Gokingjo Monogatari & Paradise Kiss are good and they are inter-related. Of a slightly different genre, that'll be Kagen No Tsuki, that is half shoujo & half mystery.. Sad to say, I did not really follow the Nana anime, only a few episodes here and there, but I thought watching the anime gives this manga a total new feel.

Nope, I'm neither here not there..... would rather just go out and sit at some cafes and people watch...those kind of stuff..

Its about how Toshio undergo some hellish training to become a Zombie hunter to hunt aliens/monsters that invade people's bodies...but is one of the earlier works...so....

One Piece - Story wise - too early to say much, i had some time trying to adjust to these kind of drawings...I'm just too used to seeing Bishies in like 80% of the manga i read...plus i have yet to see any gals yet....hahaha!
