A secret island ("Laputa), a lost civilization, a hidden secret name, a militarist government and evil secret agents, a giant tree and a weapon of mass destruction, Pirates....
And tons of Poneglyphs!
I initially stumbled upon this in another theory, but it was around the Guiliver's journey's Laputa, and not the Ghibli movie which is just loosely inspired by it, and only mentioned that sideways.
Had the author done his research better, he might have come to the same conclusions regarding the secrets of One Piece that I have come to!

Remember Kaido's belt from 20 years ago? it is the same one that Jesus Burgess has. During one of his many suicidal moments he came across Burgess and lost to him in a wrestling match. It's something that even his drunken self erased from his memory. His crew is afraid to ask him about it.

Luffy manages to hit Kaidou with his new Gear 4th form by the help of Gecko Moria, but due to the time limit Luffy's Gear 4th form will expire and Kaidou's gonna babyshake Luffy again. Momo looks around and he sees that they are going to lose again. And the rage will be breaking out of him and releases the dragon. So he will awaken his Smile DF! And he will utterly wound Kaidou due to his dragon claws.
Just to make you sure, these are my predictions which have come true during those 7 years:
• Sanji is going to get together with Violet (I have only watched the series and didn't read the manga yet)
• Luffy's Gear 4th being released in Dressrosa (predicted in 2013) - First, I mixed the 2 forms of the Gear 4th and Gear 5th the final gear form, because I thought that Gear 5th is going to be the smaller version and Gear 4th is the giant version.
• Kidd's going to be captured in Wano.
• The entire Wholecake Island arc.
• The Reverie's going to be skipped and mentioned later.
I have also had a future vision about the spoilers of Ch. 904.
So my Wano arc prophecies I made in 2015, going to be fulfilled later. Because I had a future vision about in August, 2018 that Kaidou's had a common past with Vegapunk. And Kaidou was been the test subject of Dr. Vegapunk. In my future vision, Kaidou has been fighting in a pit while he was wearing a grey outfit. He was shaped a Gorilla form when he was about to kill his opponent. And when he killed it, he was awakened his DF and a silhouette showed about his true form (current). And Kaidou is an awakened user, who can use 100 forms! No wonder, why is his name is Kaidou of the 100 beasts.
I believe Kanjuro's mind will split similarly to Pudding's.
My theory is that he was honest about becoming another person while playing his role, and since he played it for the most part of his life, his manly love for Oden is legit. Thus, at some point he will use his powers to draw Oden, probably using a paint brush made of Yasuie's hair, and this draw is the one who will kill Orochi using Oden's swords.

The text on the "Poneglyphs" is cuneiform, pointing at ancient Mesopotamia.
The secret middle name Ur also points in that direction, Ur is the city of the Moon God Nanna/Sin. Nanna is the father of Utu/Shamash, the Sun God (Roger/Ace?, also plays a prominent role in Takei's Shaman King, Roger and Takei are former colleagues and good friends), Inanna/Ishtar (Nami has her motives) and sometimes Adad/Iskur (Luffy has his motives, written as dIM).
The world shown in the credits shows Laputa floating in space above a world defined by a single central continent around the prime meridian (so like the Red Line). You can also spot an airship like the Ark Maxim in the opening.
Interestingly the Island features a grave but doesn't explain anything (Joy Boy?).
Oda said he started imagining his pirate story when he was 12 years old. When Castle in the Sky came out, Oda was 11 years and 8 months old!!!

The Ancient Kingdom, The True Meaning of the 'D' Name, and Devil Fruits: How it all could tie together
The Ancient Kingdom's nature and even its name have been kept a mystery for the whole manga. But i think it could be explained. Those who bear the D initial have a clear connection to the Ancient Kingdom. The WG often calls its enemies Devils. Finally, there was a race in the Ancient Kingdom which was exterminated, and its quite possible that that race founded the Ancient Kingdom initially, although their ideals seem to make it so they could have been a very diverse country with lots of races living in them due to their open borders policy. There have been many points in the manga where the WG is associated with religion or with them basically being 'God' and the pirates are seen as devils. Luffy even went to Skypeia and fought Enel who acted like an all powerful God in a 'heavenly' airborne cloud place no less, while Luffy was his Natural Enemy from the world below who just happened to have a power that countered his as a result of a Devil Fruit. It seems like this association of freedom seeking pirates with the idea of 'devils' and order/control seeking Marines with them representing religion is hard set. Even the Red Line and the Grandline/Calm Belts combined would look like a cross if you viewed the world from orbit and looked at either Mariejois or the Reverse Mountain. This symbolizes how the WG has an allegorical association with religion and also christianity in a way.
So, the idea is this:What if that extinct race that was part of the Ancient Kingdom were called Devils, maybe even with sterotypical devil horns? What if the name of the Ancient Kingdom was the 'Devil Kingdom'? They could have even had a major role in the history of Devil Fruits, either creating them in the first place or making a whole lot of them or stealing them from the WG, and they could be the reason that Devil Fruits have the name they do, because they were used by the 'Devils' in the Ancient Kingdom. And what was the Ancient Kingdom's plan that the WG feared so much?
Well, as others have said already, it could have been to break the Red Line, but how specifically would they do that? Probably by getting through Mariejois and the Reverse Mountain, those might be 'weak spots' on the Red Line since water goes through them, and maybe just has to go through them. I think it is possible that even if the Red Line and Calm Belt are a natural phenomenon, which they might not be, Mariejois and Reverse Mountain at the very least are creations of the WG. They could have used the Stone Stone Fruit to move around stone and create them artificially. Now, the Ancient Kingdom may have needed to use a superweapon like Pluton to bust through them. However, they may have refused to use Pluton on Mariejois both to avoid killing innocent civilians in Mariejois and also to not destroy the home of the Fishmen below, who did not get the chance to evacuate due to Joyboy not being able to keep his promise. And because the Fishmen might not have been accepted enough by others that they would have a chance to get a new home on land. All of which would have played a factor in the Ancient Kingdom losing, because they refused to destroy islands with Pluton when that meant massacring innocents and etc. But overall, Pluton makes sense as their intended method to break the Red Line.
All of this could explain what the D initial really means. It was kept by people who allied with the Ancient Kingdom or were direct members of the kingdom who managed to avoid the destruction. They weren't of the 'Devil' race itself, but the Ancient Kingdom wasn't racist, so they were allowed to have the D in their names and kept it on purpose to keep the memory alive of the Ancient Kingdom. These people's descendants kept passing it on. It could be explained why they didn't keep the full 'Devil' name the initial was originally part of and only have D as their middle initial now. Maybe the WG killed everyone who did do so during the Void Century, so they had to keep their lineage a secret. Then, after the WG wiped the Void Century from history, some Ds started giving their children the D initial again rather than keeping that knowledge a total secret to anyone but their kids, and the WG couldn't kill people just for being Ds because the info was wiped from history, even the WG's records. All the WG people who were part of the genocide were already dead by aging at this point except for Imu. At some point, most of the WG knew nothing about the history of the Ancient Kingdom, as that was needed to fully wipe all the info from history. At that point only Imu knew the truth of the D name and maybe a few D descendants who kept the knowledge alive. But hundreds of years have passed at this point. It makes sense that its true meaning could've been forgotten, especially if part of that was on purpose, and both the Ds and the WG did it, either to avoid persecution or to wipe the Ancient Kingdom's knowledge from history. This really seems like it could explain everything to be honest.
Anyway, that's about it. I could speculate more about the past of the Ancient Kingdom but i'm not really too sure about much else other than what i said there.

Luffy's Gear 5th Speculation:
I think that Luffy will get Gear 5th in Wano. Against Kaido, he will not use it and will rely on his currently developed skill set to win, on top of Gomu Gomu no Mi DF Awakening, a Power Pole I explained in a previous theory(via DF awakening to transform things into rubber, including a staff somebody else said he would take to fight Kaido), and the help of his allies. Zoro will not kill Kaido but he will at the very least use his giant sword waves to cut flame breaths from Kaido, as Zoro wants to learn to cut fire. He will probably get at least one cut on Kaido to mirror Oden since I think as someone else said,
Side note, I think that as others have speculated, Zoro is Oden's bastard son as a result of one of Oden's many Harem War R rated immoral-but-fully-concensual nighttime activities. So it makes sense that Zoro parallels Oden. He inherited his violent temper and bad sense of direction it seems. Also, our first introduction to Zoro was him enduring what seemed like it would be 1 month of starvation in exchange for a promise to not be executed if he holds out. This promise to not execute was broken. A strong parallel to Oden who suffered the same, just with his nakamas/retainers being the ones who they refused to spare as promised instead of Oden himself. They both have the same sense of honor, and Zoro encountered a problem due to his own naivety/trust in the same way as Oden did. Although obviously he's nowhere near as naive as Oden lol.

This also ties into Dragon Ball and him being a Goku parallel:The night of the invasion is a full moon! So of course he turns into a great ape. It all makes sense for Luffy to turn giant and beat Big Mom up one on one for many reasons. Big Mom has always hated that she cannot make other people giant. So how will she react if her opponent Gigantifies himself? The theme in Luffy's fights has always been that Luffy's opponent usually comes to respect him after he beats them, and this will make Big Mom be astounded at his abilities. It will give her a fight in a way that will satisfy her in a way that other opponents could not. Not that she will think about that at the time. She will be enraged at Kaido's death, because as got said way earlier in this thread, Kaido and Big Mom were probably once married, that's why Kaido said 'It's the anniversary!'. Not the anniversary of the Fire Festival. Anniversary is a weird word to use for a festival. It's the anniversary of their wedding in the past.
So, Big Mom will fight Luffy one on one and Luffy will beat her up with his Gear 5th giant form. This all ties into the Sun Wukong Journey to the West legend as it is supposed to happen that Sun Wukong fights the Soul King(Who could be none other than Big Mom) after he defeats the Jade Emperor(Kaido), and the Soul King tries to confiscate his soul. Aka, her Lifespan Steal technique, but of course, it will not work on him as he is unafraid of her. It WILL make him able to ride Zeus like the Nimbus though, so that'll backfire. Either that, or at some later point in the series, Big Mom is going to voluntarily ally with Luffy and grant him the ability to ride Zeus on purpose. But either way, Luffy is going to have Zeus as his Nimbus at some point.
The only way for Nimbus Rider Luffy to work is if he gets infused with soul-energy/Haki from Big Mom, since normally only Big Mom can ride things made of her soul. But it is probably gonna happen. I am pretty sure at this point that Oda made Luffy a RubberMan precisely because he wanted Luffy to get a Power Pole and for basically no other reason, and just made everything fit that theme. There is no other way power pole luffy could happen. So it is guaranteed to me at this point that power pole luffy will exist.
Now, why won't Luffy turn his surroundings into rubber, make rubber barriers, trap people in rubber, etc, like Katakuri? Katakuri turned the ceiling into Mochi and did flowing mochi and all kinds of stuff. But Luffy will not do that. He might make rubber punches come out of midair near his opponents like Katakuri did with his peerles donuts, but he won't do anything super complex, especially not ever trapping enemies in rubber barriers. He is fine with trapping people as shown when he grabbed Katakuri to immobilize with a giant Gear3rd hand, but it would go too much against the theme of Luffy if luffy used his powers to construct cages for enemies. He is supposed to represent freedom. I do think that Luffy will be fully capable of turning things into Rubber though, as that is the only way PowerPoleLuffy is gonna happen. He is just used to fighting with his hands, with objects he can hold, and etc, not with complex Magician style fighting tactics.
Of course, Luffy might really become an Enraged Great Ape when he fights Big Mom, but why would this be when he has become such a calm and efficient future-sight user and learned from Katakuri's example to become super op at evasion and mentally dominating foes? Because he will fail to stop BB from getting away from Wano and thus fail to avenge Ace despite trying his best to do so! So both he and Big Mom would have tons of anger to vent on each other once Blackbeard runs away in a cowardly fashion despite probably becoming fully invincible just before that. Probably to protect the other BB pirates because he attacked in a sneaky way that didn't let him bring his full force, but it still shows his cowardliness/sneakiness/only caring about getting what he wants and nothing else.
Anyway, those are all my ideas for Gear 5th Luffy, at least how its initial demonstration will work. He won't go Great Ape in size imo, but he will be at least as big as Big Mom. I think he will probably become exactly the same size as Big Mom, either on purpose if he isn't enraged beyond sanity, or if he is, it will be due to destiny taking effect. That would be the perfect way to resolve many threads in her character arc, the 'Big Mom loses to someone the same size as her' thing just kinda feels like it has to happen. After he rides zeus and get his stick, he better go for the dragon balls and ask for laughtale or to be pk. A hell of lot easier than poneglyph Hunting.

The Ancient Kingdom, The True Meaning of the 'D' Name, and Devil Fruits: How it all could tie together
The Ancient Kingdom's nature and even its name have been kept a mystery for the whole manga. But i think it could be explained. Those who bear the D initial have a clear connection to the Ancient Kingdom. The WG often calls its enemies Devils. Finally, there was a race in the Ancient Kingdom which was exterminated, and its quite possible that that race founded the Ancient Kingdom initially, although their ideals seem to make it so they could have been a very diverse country with lots of races living in them due to their open borders policy. There have been many points in the manga where the WG is associated with religion or with them basically being 'God' and the pirates are seen as devils. Luffy even went to Skypeia and fought Enel who acted like an all powerful God in a 'heavenly' airborne cloud place no less, while Luffy was his Natural Enemy from the world below who just happened to have a power that countered his as a result of a Devil Fruit. It seems like this association of freedom seeking pirates with the idea of 'devils' and order/control seeking Marines with them representing religion is hard set. Even the Red Line and the Grandline/Calm Belts combined would look like a cross if you viewed the world from orbit and looked at either Mariejois or the Reverse Mountain. This symbolizes how the WG has an allegorical association with religion and also christianity in a way.
So, the idea is this:What if that extinct race that was part of the Ancient Kingdom were called Devils, maybe even with sterotypical devil horns? What if the name of the Ancient Kingdom was the 'Devil Kingdom'? They could have even had a major role in the history of Devil Fruits, either creating them in the first place or making a whole lot of them or stealing them from the WG, and they could be the reason that Devil Fruits have the name they do, because they were used by the 'Devils' in the Ancient Kingdom. And what was the Ancient Kingdom's plan that the WG feared so much?
Well, as others have said already, it could have been to break the Red Line, but how specifically would they do that? Probably by getting through Mariejois and the Reverse Mountain, those might be 'weak spots' on the Red Line since water goes through them, and maybe just has to go through them. I think it is possible that even if the Red Line and Calm Belt are a natural phenomenon, which they might not be, Mariejois and Reverse Mountain at the very least are creations of the WG. They could have used the Stone Stone Fruit to move around stone and create them artificially. Now, the Ancient Kingdom may have needed to use a superweapon like Pluton to bust through them. However, they may have refused to use Pluton on Mariejois both to avoid killing innocent civilians in Mariejois and also to not destroy the home of the Fishmen below, who did not get the chance to evacuate due to Joyboy not being able to keep his promise. And because the Fishmen might not have been accepted enough by others that they would have a chance to get a new home on land. All of which would have played a factor in the Ancient Kingdom losing, because they refused to destroy islands with Pluton when that meant massacring innocents and etc. But overall, Pluton makes sense as their intended method to break the Red Line.
All of this could explain what the D initial really means. It was kept by people who allied with the Ancient Kingdom or were direct members of the kingdom who managed to avoid the destruction. They weren't of the 'Devil' race itself, but the Ancient Kingdom wasn't racist, so they were allowed to have the D in their names and kept it on purpose to keep the memory alive of the Ancient Kingdom. These people's descendants kept passing it on. It could be explained why they didn't keep the full 'Devil' name the initial was originally part of and only have D as their middle initial now. Maybe the WG killed everyone who did do so during the Void Century, so they had to keep their lineage a secret. Then, after the WG wiped the Void Century from history, some Ds started giving their children the D initial again rather than keeping that knowledge a total secret to anyone but their kids, and the WG couldn't kill people just for being Ds because the info was wiped from history, even the WG's records. All the WG people who were part of the genocide were already dead by aging at this point except for Imu. At some point, most of the WG knew nothing about the history of the Ancient Kingdom, as that was needed to fully wipe all the info from history. At that point only Imu knew the truth of the D name and maybe a few D descendants who kept the knowledge alive. But hundreds of years have passed at this point. It makes sense that its true meaning could've been forgotten, especially if part of that was on purpose, and both the Ds and the WG did it, either to avoid persecution or to wipe the Ancient Kingdom's knowledge from history. This really seems like it could explain everything to be honest.
Anyway, that's about it. I could speculate more about the past of the Ancient Kingdom but i'm not really too sure about much else other than what i said there.

Luffy's Gear 5th Speculation:
I think that Luffy will get Gear 5th in Wano. Against Kaido, he will not use it and will rely on his currently developed skill set to win, on top of Gomu Gomu no Mi DF Awakening, a Power Pole I explained in a previous theory(via DF awakening to transform things into rubber, including a staff somebody else said he would take to fight Kaido), and the help of his allies. Zoro will not kill Kaido but he will at the very least use his giant sword waves to cut flame breaths from Kaido, as Zoro wants to learn to cut fire. He will probably get at least one cut on Kaido to mirror Oden since I think as someone else said,
Side note, I think that as others have speculated, Zoro is Oden's bastard son as a result of one of Oden's many Harem War R rated immoral-but-fully-concensual nighttime activities. So it makes sense that Zoro parallels Oden. He inherited his violent temper and bad sense of direction it seems. Also, our first introduction to Zoro was him enduring what seemed like it would be 1 month of starvation in exchange for a promise to not be executed if he holds out. This promise to not execute was broken. A strong parallel to Oden who suffered the same, just with his nakamas/retainers being the ones who they refused to spare as promised instead of Oden himself. They both have the same sense of honor, and Zoro encountered a problem due to his own naivety/trust in the same way as Oden did. Although obviously he's nowhere near as naive as Oden lol.
As for Luffy's Gear 5th, he will turn giant and fight Big Mom 1 on 1. This will happen after he beats up Kaido who is then suddenly killed by Blackbeard, who kills him, eats his heart to steal his DF ability all according to keikaku, and escapes along with the other Blackbeard Pirates who helped him suddenly instakill Kaido. This also ties into Dragon Ball and him being a Goku parallel:The night of the invasion is a full moon! So of course he turns into a great ape. It all makes sense for Luffy to turn giant and beat Big Mom up one on one for many reasons. Big Mom has always hated that she cannot make other people giant. So how will she react if her opponent Gigantifies himself? The theme in Luffy's fights has always been that Luffy's opponent usually comes to respect him after he beats them, and this will make Big Mom be astounded at his abilities. It will give her a fight in a way that will satisfy her in a way that other opponents could not. Not that she will think about that at the time. She will be enraged at Kaido's death, because as got said way earlier in this thread, Kaido and Big Mom were probably once married, that's why Kaido said 'It's the anniversary!'. Not the anniversary of the Fire Festival. Anniversary is a weird word to use for a festival. It's the anniversary of their wedding in the past.
So, Big Mom will fight Luffy one on one and Luffy will beat her up with his Gear 5th giant form. This all ties into the Sun Wukong Journey to the West legend as it is supposed to happen that Sun Wukong fights the Soul King(Who could be none other than Big Mom) after he defeats the Jade Emperor(Kaido), and the Soul King tries to confiscate his soul. Aka, her Lifespan Steal technique, but of course, it will not work on him as he is unafraid of her. It WILL make him able to ride Zeus like the Nimbus though, so that'll backfire. Either that, or at some later point in the series, Big Mom is going to voluntarily ally with Luffy and grant him the ability to ride Zeus on purpose. But either way, Luffy is going to have Zeus as his Nimbus at some point.
The only way for Nimbus Rider Luffy to work is if he gets infused with soul-energy/Haki from Big Mom, since normally only Big Mom can ride things made of her soul. But it is probably gonna happen. I am pretty sure at this point that Oda made Luffy a RubberMan precisely because he wanted Luffy to get a Power Pole and for basically no other reason, and just made everything fit that theme. There is no other way power pole luffy could happen. So it is guaranteed to me at this point that power pole luffy will exist.
Now, why won't Luffy turn his surroundings into rubber, make rubber barriers, trap people in rubber, etc, like Katakuri? Katakuri turned the ceiling into Mochi and did flowing mochi and all kinds of stuff. But Luffy will not do that. He might make rubber punches come out of midair near his opponents like Katakuri did with his peerles donuts, but he won't do anything super complex, especially not ever trapping enemies in rubber barriers. He is fine with trapping people as shown when he grabbed Katakuri to immobilize with a giant Gear3rd hand, but it would go too much against the theme of Luffy if luffy used his powers to construct cages for enemies. He is supposed to represent freedom. I do think that Luffy will be fully capable of turning things into Rubber though, as that is the only way PowerPoleLuffy is gonna happen. He is just used to fighting with his hands, with objects he can hold, and etc, not with complex Magician style fighting tactics.
Of course, Luffy might really become an Enraged Great Ape when he fights Big Mom, but why would this be when he has become such a calm and efficient future-sight user and learned from Katakuri's example to become super op at evasion and mentally dominating foes? Because he will fail to stop BB from getting away from Wano and thus fail to avenge Ace despite trying his best to do so! So both he and Big Mom would have tons of anger to vent on each other once Blackbeard runs away in a cowardly fashion despite probably becoming fully invincible just before that. Probably to protect the other BB pirates because he attacked in a sneaky way that didn't let him bring his full force, but it still shows his cowardliness/sneakiness/only caring about getting what he wants and nothing else.
Anyway, those are all my ideas for Gear 5th Luffy, at least how its initial demonstration will work. He won't go Great Ape in size imo, but he will be at least as big as Big Mom. I think he will probably become exactly the same size as Big Mom, either on purpose if he isn't enraged beyond sanity, or if he is, it will be due to destiny taking effect. That would be the perfect way to resolve many threads in her character arc, the 'Big Mom loses to someone the same size as her' thing just kinda feels like it has to happen. Hopefully you guys like this prediction, let me know what you think.
Gear 5th is going to be released against Blackbeard on Raftel for the very first time. Because Luffy will fight with Teach for the One Piece treasure for almost 8 days (7 days and 2 hours) And he will have used all of his gear forms for 20 times the most and he will have already surpassed his limits. So Teach will figure out a really nice game to motivate Luffy for another fight with him, such as he will kill all of his crewmates one by one. But Jinbei will be still standing and he will annihilate all of the remaining Titanic Commanders. But during that fight he will get shot multiple times by Blackbeard and the last shot will be aimed for the head. Where Jinbei's going to die in front of Luffy's eyes and when he saw him dying, he will start raging and release Gear 5th. Which is going to be 56M tall but it's going to be like the Hulk since it's based on the nervous system.

Tbh I have no idea about this, i haven't thought about Zoro too much. Zoro might not really be Oden's son after all. I haven't really investigated the specific timings of events like Zoro's exact age and if it matches up with the harem wars or not. I guess not. But even if he is not his son, there are definitely some interesting parallels between the two and I think Zoro is supposed to have some similarities with him. Not really sure why, but there seem to be some parallels with how we are introduced to Zoro with the execution thing and Oden's death.
After he rides zeus and get his stick, he better go for the dragon balls and ask for laughtale or to be pk. A hell of lot easier than poneglyph Hunting.
Your theories are cool, i just find it hard to beat two yonkou on the same arc.
Well, yeah, don't ask me how the specifics would play out. I was surprised too when Big Mom allied with Kaido. I just think there are thematic reasons why Oda would make Luffy turn giant and fight Big Mom. I realize that it is chaotic and very difficult to predict all the specifics in a series of events as crazy as Wano. Maybe Big Mom won't be fully beaten by Luffy himself, but I am at least sure that if Kaido is killed by Blackbeard who then escapes, she will attack Luffy in a fit of anger and he will have to survive somehow. I feel like a giant vs giant battle would make sense though. It might get even more complicated if the Marines or others also get involved in the chaos so i can't say i know anything for sure. It just feels like this would fulfill some narrative things that Oda might want to make happen.
On another note, I think that Big Mom will not die in this arc and will be rescued by the Big Mom Pirates even if she loses. Usopp seems like he is intended to be relevant against Big Mom, either in this arc or a later arc. I think Usopp is based on the legend of David from Jewish mythology who fells Goliath with a single shot from his slingshot, he is not just a Pinnochio reference/parody, although that is part of it. He has the slingshot like David, he sort of looks Jewish, and his main fighting style is being a sniper. He once called himself Sogeking as a lie but it will eventually be the truth, he will be the King of the Snipers who surpasses all others in the world lol.
I think he will probably help out against Big Mom in this arc or a future one for that David mythological reason. Also, Ussop's main gag is constantly telling lies that are proven to be the truth. This could be intended because in mythology David's son is Solomon, an omniscient prophet who can see the future through revelations from God. It also ties into how Observation Haki works in One Piece and its connection to Future Sight. Usopp is a strong Observation Haki user who will get better and better at it over time, so it's only natural that he might eventually have a little bit of precognition, and that Oda makes it so he comedically keeps on seeing the future/telling lies that always happen to be the truth.
TLDR, i basically make these guesses by looking into the mythology things Oda likes to include which can also include him just using modern sources like DBZ and etc. That makes it a lot easier for me. It seems like he has done it a lot in the past so that is basically my method for making these predictions if you want to know how to do it.

Shanks awakened next level of CoC, possibly only one to have done it so far making him a threat to everyone. And that has to do with some level of sacrifice, which was his arm
So perhaps Luffy will have to lose something to gain that level.
