I will add to this. Maybe it would take Bam and Urek both to defeat Phanta? And this is what his fate is. This makes Urek look a lot relevant in the story especially after Bam ascends to the top of the tower.

Since Baam died and a was reborn, aka practically a new life and confirmed new person as per Garams words then there's a strong possibility that the Outside god is banking on him.


So Baam might be an artificially created Radiant by rebirth and Urek was born as radiant straight up.

On another note, Enryu might be a failed Radiant specimen which is why he was only able to become an envoy rather than an incarnation.

His goal may as well be that. Maybe Urek spared Zahard after hearing from him + Urek killing Zahard would throw the whole tower into chaos resulting into more deaths. This will make a lot of sense for both parties involved.

Now it also puts headon position in the tower in question as well. Is he really the architect for everything? or just Phanta's pawn in cultivating a new jewel.

You forgot one thing that we have an entity called darkness who created Phanta. Phanta disobeyed his orders and kept the gems. It doesn't mean that darkness allowed him to create new gems.

I'm not sure where you got the information that Phanta overcame Darkness. But from the translation I saw, it just says that Phanta disobeyed Darkness.

We don't know fully about the king's background. I don't think Phanta would harvest him. The radiant ones are lights born from the darkness. It also has connections to the word shining jewels. He wouldn't harvest nobody. Maybe the tower's purpose is to make an irregular a radiant one instead of axis now. That's why headon said U shouldn't be here because UM is already a radiant. He didn't say this to night iirc.

I am not sure about phanta or urek or whatnot but iirc we are not webtoon introduced on axis yet. If somehow you became an axis then there should always be a way because you are not seeing future, you are creating it. So I doubt it is a dead end for Zahard if he can become an axis. But yeah, I don't know any canon axis yet. Probably just to rid axis thing off, all these jewels and darkness were introduced.

Kings ( Axis) are someone who rules over the jewels. Seeing that Zahard cannot become that king he decided to close the doors to the tower and rule it instead. He became the tower's king. Changing his fate of becoming a jewel of this tower and then ruled by Phanta (killed by him)

Eventually V should have become the king of this tower and become the jewel but Zahard offed him so that's why enryu called him "the false king"

Maybe Zahard fate seeing powers saw this Phanta reality and he acted upon it.
