Critiques for my drawing

Hi all, i recently got into drawing using paint tool SAI and im having loads of fun, but i would like to know if im heading in the right direction skill wise. Ive noticed an improvement myself but i'd like to hear an outside voice. Thanks, and i appreciate your honesty in advance.

I think it's a big improvement over your other work and you can definitely find yourself as an artist in Sai. If you want advice on how to evolve from here, i would recommend trying less simplistic styles (eyes that look more detailed than a curved line and a circle, for instance) and trying to portray your characters in more three dimensional poses. I can see you're already doing that, but you can do even better.

This is pretty good work, though, so keep it up and keep improving!

Its pretty nice. Though... the nose and mouth needs some work. Maybe a little realignment will do. Ganbatte!

yeah i realized that after i uploaded it too haha. in the stuff im working on now, i always make sure its aligned

the hair, try to add some darker shades in some point and add some hair strand to make it better.
and the background - hair color is too similar. try to add some contrast in the bg. or pattern could work too.
try using water,blur & oil water tool in SAI,its good for blending the shirt.

how many layers did you draw this?
