I think it has to do more with Mangastream's policy than Kodansha's...

It has nothing to do with MS. MS is not the only group to scanlate those series. They did not start Editing SnK until earlier this year. They did not even exist when the first Fairy Tail Edited Mangas started. Batoto took down SnK chapters scanlated by GWR and TDX, and FT chapters scanlated by Kefi and whoever else scanlated before MS. GWR and TDX used Batoto as their official online reader, they were posted with consent, as are all chapters at Batoto. Batoto never had MS chapter posted to take down, MS never has given consent.

My bad, they reorganized how English and non-English are ordered. All the English translations were separated, and moved to the bottom.

Ooh, this sounds like a neat idea. Not only will it allow the fans from the 170 countries to read the chosen series, it'll be good business for Kodansha and Crunchyroll with ads from the free users and paid accounts.

Looks like two more countries join the excluded list

the biggest countries besides the english one will be excluded, because they can sell the rights there, like france, spain, italy and germany.

They didn't publish yet, probably they will say October 30th.
For now they are just cutting the hope of people. Seriously, I am mad now. XD

Keep an eye on the news section at Crunchyroll. They will make the announcement there. The simulpubb starts Wednesday, with the next issue of Shounen Magazine. They will have the full list up by then.

If Seven Deadly Sins and Wagatsuma are stopped being scanlated while I have no access to their service, this is the worse news of the year for me. It's a pitty because I would have been much more interested in this than Jump Alpha.

Who is the rights holder for Kodansha in France?

I find it interesting how many of the series on Crunchyroll are otherwise unavailable, not licensed by Kodansha or Vertical.

Pika has priority over Kodansha titles. They started publishing Shingeki last summer and will start Nanatsu around the same time as English release. Wagatsuma will probably never be translated since they mainly series that make money

I'd like to point out that some of the decisions may have been made by Kodansha Japan, rather than the US subsidiary.

I know that. I said it in a general way. Kodansha is losing money with it.
Here we don't have any manga digital service, I really don't understand why Brazil is not included. Maybe in the future... =/

Licensing manga to Crunchyroll might conflict with Kodansha's Brazilian licensing deal.

I can understand this and I think it's the same for most of the other excluded countries, the only one I don't really understand is Mexico...We don't have any legal manga publisher right now in the country to begin with so just what stops them from extending the service to here?

I'm not sure, among those announced only Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan are licensed here and only physical. I don't know very much how this business works, but I believe that digital and physical rights under a series are negotiated separately. That way, no publisher has digital rights here by what I know.
