I can understand this and I think it's the same for most of the other excluded countries, the only one I don't really understand is Mexico...We don't have any legal manga publisher right now in the country to begin with so just what stops them from extending the service to here?

It could be on Crunchyroll's end then. It's hard to say, licensing agreements were my best guess. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

I'm not sure, among those announced only Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan are licensed here and only physical. I don't know very much how this business works, but I believe that digital and physical rights under a series are negotiated separately. That way, no publisher has digital rights here by what I know.

They allowed those too lapse before launching Kodansha Comics, and buying Vertical. Licensing agreements usually involve giving the licensing party exclusive publishing rights. Giving unlicensed titles to Crunchyroll would break their agreement. That's not a problem in the US, where they publish directly.

Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan were licensed by Panini Comics. Maybe that's the reason.

I think that it isn't the case, because Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan are licensed for different publishers. Editorial things are too confused... It's better to think that it is just temporary, I hope so. :S

Ok, I'm a bit confused about the membership...

I have a membership on Crunchyroll, but I haven't used it all (Mostly because free members didn't have the luxury of watching the anime the same time it comes out in Japan) However, that is changing now because I have learned there is a CR bucks system. Can someone help me explain how this might work with watching anime and reading mangas?

P.S.: Fingers crossed now that this is a good sign for FT. It's time for Fairy Tail to make its mark in the global audience after being dominated by the Big 3 for the past decade.

Ok, now that I've read it over again, so basically, this means that free users like me can read the chapters for free with ads. However, we can't go back to reading previous chapters, am I right?

Ok, I'm a bit confused about the membership...

Trying to address everything you asked.

1) They've had a CR bucks system for a really long time actually.

2) An anime membership is going to be SEPARATE from a manga membership.

3) You can get CR bucks by clicking on offers, I think and use it toward any kind of membership. Note that you probably only get pennies for doing offers.

4) From what was said, looks like free users can only read the latest chapter for free with ads. So yeah, looks like you won't be able to go back if you're a free user.

Free users can read only the latest chapters with ad support, while paid subscribers can read all manga including catalog titles.

You can get any membership you want on your account. So I could have a manga and anime membership for example. Or anime and drama etc.

You may not see any offers because you have an ad blocking software active? But no idea otherwise. I've never used CR bucks for a membership before or completed offers to get CR bucks.

It's slow to roll out, but it looks like you need an all access account to have unlimited manga and not everything is out yet.

Ended up upgrading to 11.95 plan, but why UQ HOlder only have two chapters. Will slowly make my way reading the volumes of the rest of some of the series.

I think they messed up because they said you can get a manga membership for $4.95 a month. I didn't get that option and got what you got though. -____-
They're probably a little slow to get the stuff out. I wasn't even able to read some chapters because they wouldn't load. I guess we gotta give it time.

I can't get my free membership, it was just fine a few hours ago. Also, I don't really understand. I thought you could apply for a free membership, but it said that once the free trial ends, I automatically switch over to the paying plans, is this true?

I think its a nice reader, read four chapters of Yamada and the Seven Witches, and looked through at least UQ Holder to see if they retain the colour pages (which they did). Guess its a nice start.

Wish all of Attack on Titan was there so I could at least read it, and I assume thats all of Seven Deadly Sins and Space Brothers?

I signed up for a month. This is awesome! I caught up on Yamada-kun. The scan quality is OK, there is more detail but less contrast in the pages.

If crunchyroll keeps adding titles, they could really be onto something!

I know, but I couldn't find it. And I still can't figure out how to navigate to that link.
They finally made that link easier to find by putting it in their news forum post.

I just got the all access one since I would be paying the same price for anime + manga. Drama is a bonus.

Don't think that's happening because it's licensed and in volume format here. Space Brothers has 21 volumes right now in Japan, I think.
