Natsu is 100% a caster and there is no reason August wouldn't be able to copy and nullify Natsu's magic. Same with Laxus and the rest of CS.

August doesn't have feats of nullifying attacks on the scale of DF Natsu's FDK Demolition Fist , the best feat he's got is nullifying a nameless attack from Gildarts. Nor does he have the feats to show he can outspeed DF Natsu enough to avoid his attack. It's the typical NLF argument which is like saying August nullifies Igneel's attack because he can nullify attacks. Unrestricted Natsu solos this.

I don't see the team winning at all. I think August's MP is still above everyone here. Which means, he would be immune to all their attacks. He also copies meteor, mind read and speed magic, becoming too fast and perceptive.

Not really, August has far better durability and was physically manhandling him,

I'm not saying Gildarts has better or even similar stats.

August has the best stats out of all the Spriggans by far (except dragon Eileen).
He was overwhelming Gildarts in physical combat. He also has great durability, considering he took Gildarts' strongest attack, while somewhat offguard, and it only gave him a bloody lip and was otherwise fine.

I just think that, if we take away the copy magic and replace with some "conventional" magic, Gildarts can probably give him a mid diff purely based on combat stats. Gildarts managed to blitz him initially, and even later, was somewhat keeping up in combat

August Wins this fight.
They're all caster type wizards, none of their attacks will touch him. Plus with hearing magic plus meteor he can predict and easily dodge any move they try.
August was clearly toying with Gildarts. and even gildarts landing a blow on him was a nonesense. He could've used reflector to deflect gildarts' mechanical arm, or cana's cards. Mashima just realized he had no way to end August so the whole ending was BS.

August could take on the whole S12 by himself (Even Eileen is no match for him)

He can't be defeated if we stay logic
