Ok but do remember Night used both thorns throughout that fight with white. And in levi form he only used one thorn at the last moment which managed to break through the attack of Dumas and managed to hurt him when dumas was going all out. What I get the vibes is even if dark charge is stronger, just pure offensive wise, levi form is stronger. If Night used blue dragon claws on white which he used on holan in 537, that would have almost ended the game.

SIU gave night levi so he could contend with regent level characters like Dumas and all. Idk but I get this feeling he is protecting dark charge for sth big maybe we will see in this war. But again be it levi which has Ray's powers or dark charge which has V's powers, the most powerful arsenal will always remain thorn which has Enryu power.
I am pretty sure that Baam was using only the first thorn in the dark change mode.
Besides Levithan is an external power-up. Dark change Baam with his shinwonryu outside is his own power. His own power is far greater than anything this tower can bestow upon him. The thorn is the most busted powerful item in his arsenal. The thorn is the X factor. You're right when you say that.

Karaka is barely BH tier and yama at that time was barely CC tier, JJ is also barely CC tier, i doubt yasratcha would get defeated that easily like JJ i mean he would still get manhandled, but definitely not in the way JJ got manhandled
Well, Jinsung's arms were still damaged, and Yama was also not in peak form. You can argue a fully healed CC Tier would perform significantly better than they did individually.

But then I'll tell you it probably doesn't matter, because Dumas' full power is many levels ahead of what he showed against these guys. The purple form of the armor is far stronger than that, and this form in turn doesn't hold a candle to the full power of the real Dumas.

Dumas isn't just a level above CCs. He's many levels above. Mid/Mid-Low Diffing Prime White doesn't even begin to be an argument for DC Baam being Dumas level or above. If anything, it might be an argument to say he isn't.

also remember that baam at dark change form is physically way above CC tier(he wont get damaged easily), white's strongest sword that was even able to significantly injure kallavan was not even able to stratch baam
"Way" above is an overstatement. For the most part, White was able to keep pace with his moves. Baam managed to bare block a nameless slash once, but that doesn't mean he can do such feat with all of White's attacks. Later on, White managed to pierce his body and commented that his durability still wasn't at the level of his power.

Also, as far as I recall, Kallavan withstood many of White's attacks (some named) with little to no damage.

leviathan does not have anything that compares to an irregular especially with a god's power inside him, he might be stronger than current baam but he is not giving power greater than baam's true power.
Leviathan IS irregular power in itself (Traumerei's power).

I'm not saying Baam's own power is inherently below Traumerei's in terms of potential. It clearly won't be, but there's no denying Baam is still a baby in development. I don't think it's by any means a stretch to say Leviathan (part of Traumerei) can give him power beyond what he can muster currently in his toddler phase.

he took that attack on purpose to devour white, but could not due to plot armor giving AA and Rak a chance to gain ranker level power. Otherwise he came completely unscatched out of that fight, fight would be over within few exchanges if baam didnt purposely try to lure white to devour him, he would have easily killed him if that was his goal from the start.

Also yes kallavan withstood most of white's attacks but he fought an weaker White and was going to get significantly injured if he didnt sacrifice his arm, on the other hand baam was not in any way hurt, he withstood a stronger white with his body, i think you underestimate dark change baam its not just the power-level but the physical enchanment which is ridiculous so far, and there is also his shinsuu which makes even the shinsuu itself wither away, i dont see dumas surviving dark change baam

Baam's own power is something even Arlene fears a irregular who is equal to Rei if not stronger, levi only inherited a part of Rei's power, no matter how strong it is, its never going to be comparable to a power a full-fledged irregular fears, baam is probably the only one with God's power, also this power alone made him go from a fodder for data Z to equaling him, its like saying khun eduan would be stronger with blossom's flame without lightning compared to his power with lightning, it's ridiculous also leviathan is not suitable for baam, what he needs most is physical enchanment like dark change and a hax that makes his opponent weaker as time goes on since his stamina is bad

Overall dark-change baam is more powerful for me

I agree Dark Change Baam would comfortably defeat White if he went for the kill, and I agree he's clear of the level of a CC. That was never in dispute for me.

I just happen to think the gap between Dumas and a CC is quite bigger than that. Just in the 2nd stage of his armor, Dumas arguably has better feats than DC Baam already (I say arguably because Jinsung and Yama weren't at their best, otherwise there'd be no contest). He instantly negged Jinsung, FT Yama, Karaka, and Base Baam all at once.

Mind you, this version of Dumas is FODDER compared to the full power of the real Dumas, and he wasn't even going for the kill.

Yes, Baam's power has the potential to stand very high. But that's it. "Potential". It doesn't mean it's currently strong enough to make all that hype a reality. Again, current Baam is a toddler who at best can access a minuscule fraction of all that power.

Leviathan, on the other hand, is a meaningful fraction of Traumerei's power. It's much more refined and real than a tiny fraction of Baam's power which can't even be accessed at will yet.

The Eduan/Blossom example is just not good at all. Both of them have mastered their powers. Obviously, they're adept at fighting with their own power and can use it to the fullest. This is not even close to being the case with Baam, who can't even access that power at will, and when he does, it's just a little fraction.

Baam's inherent power is obviously more suited for him than Leviathan, but Baam hasn't had the chance to master his OG power to any meaningful extent. It'll obviously end up being more powerful, but just because it has bigger potential, it doesn't mean it's currently stronger.

Lol in the same chapter. That might have been an SIU's artist mistake. He was using only the first thorn. This chapter, the previous chapter.

Some panels it's missing, and some not. 2nd thorn is a space/teleportation item. In this fight, he didn't do anything with it.

I just think it is stronger for some reason or another. The things on display were far more irregular to me. But we'll know the answer very soon. That dark change is coming again in the form of V.

I'll give you that - when it comes to design, abilities, aura and overall visuals, I think Dark Change shits all over Levi form.

He was using 2nd thorn when playing tug of war with white, even B4 that. Teleportation or not, the fact that he was using 2nd thorn says alot.

I also agree that display was irregular to me too like the one in below which parallels to Ray.
