Laxus' and all his other nukes will do shit to the barrier considering Laxus' most powerful spell to date barely even beat a guy like Wahl, CQC? how is he even gonna hit him when he can't even catch him? Jellal without meteor has show to have gone past acnologia and tag him when said overpowered dragon was trying to dodge the attacks.

the only thing laxus has an edge over jellal is durability and CQC, but those mean nothing when he can't even get past the barrier and he can't even get near him due to the massive difference in speed.
imho Jellal always was stronger due to different magics. Jellals durability is not low at all, he fought DF Ephirion empowered Natsu and stood hits witch contained all of Ishgars magic and survived ToH destruction.
