Laxus, and tbh I wouldn't be surprised if he mid-diffed with his new mode.

Jellal has some good durability (apparently better than Erza's given he, like Laxus, was completely unharmed by Kyria's Roar) but he's nowhere near as tanky as Laxus and currently his damage output isn't in the same level as Red Lightning. Their speed should roughly be equal (Jellal might actually have a slight edge) but there's too many factors Jellal is outmatched in here.

Sure, he's above everyone with the exception of Erza, Laxus, Gildarts and Natsu. Tbh, if Natsu fought Jellal in only FDK, I could see Jellal pulling a win too.

Laxus has always been stronger he is too much of a physical specimen for JelLOL to put down but I think overall they were on a similar level (jelLOL has more varied attacks and is faster, Laxus is physically stronger with more endurance/durabilty and ferocity). And even in 100YQ Laxus mentions that jelLOL vs him would be quite a fight. Even now jelLOL just hasn't had a chance to showcase anything. I actually think he is still on the same tier and it goes Laxus > Erza >= JelLOL. People who think Mirajane would beat him are out of their minds. For example in the Laxus/Mira vs Erza/jelLOL thread I would take the latter because she is by far the weak link. He is also stronger than Gray and Gajeel imo.

When feats come for him, this is how I think it will be : Laxus >= Jellal > Erza

Like, he outlasted everyone else against August, and if he wasn’t protecting his guild he might have had a chance to suss out a response, it’s just he’s more archmagus than battle mage. Jellal is a monster, and he certainly is still my most hyped fight for Laxus.
