Hey guys! Sorry for the late review as some unexpected events happened this Thursday but it’s all good now so without further ado let the chapter review begin!
K, I don’t know about you guys but look at the first panel, clearly Kisame’s focus and attention is on KB and if Sabu-chan attacked him with the big axe on the side of the panel then you would deal some damage to him or at least buy some time for KB to land a hit; that big axe of yours was made for combat you know, it’s not a decoration. With that said, I guess the audiences need an announcer/narrator to explain us the details of the battle just like Zetsu was explaining us the Sasuke-Itachi battle:

Anyway, just as the prior chapter suggests the battle will be monopolized by Kisame because of his Samehada’s chakra absorbing ability. However there seems to be a catch, his great sword can only absorb six tails at a time and with Kishi giving us this limitation I believe this will play a key role in the fight as KB seems to be very observative and makes strategic plans when it comes to battle.
Ahahahaha it’s just as I predicted! His tag earrings would play a role in this battle! Moving on though, We get a flashback of what happened and on the top left panel we see that Ao tells him not to bother because it is this jutsu etc. Since the tag earrings says “to hear” does that mean it activated when Ao said this line? Some of you may say, “well on the bottom panel it says it is automatically triggered” but then I’ll ask you :
“How does an eye know when it is in trouble?”
I believe that the tag earrings were triggered by his voice/thought (when he said the line), as an eye (regardless whether it is a Byakuugan, the Sharingan, or the great Rinnegan) is no more than a mere body part that operates when the mind commands it to; therefore it is not a living entity that has a mind of its own. So if it is not alive how does it know when it is safe? How does it know when it is in trouble? And to Ao’s question, yes, that is how Danzo treats his underlings, very much like my job manager.
This makes things more interesting as Ao has dropped the “fear factor”, makes it more interesting though. Will Fuu really leave the body too soon? Or will he keep up the fall? I think it’s the latter. However I also believe that Mizukage and her bodyguard will arrive there just before it happens as Kishi wouldn’t have brought them in the chapter (and in last week’s chapter too) getting closer to Ao.
Now this is how Naruto should be treating Kyuubi! Call him a fool and an idiot ahaha. Anyway this panel just shows how much KB is in so much control of his Bijuu, it even seems that the relationship between KB and Hachibi is like a bestfriend’s relationship instead of a master and beast. Another thing that I find so interesting is how KB doesn’t let out Hachibi on a time that he really needs to, and lets him out when he doesn’t need him.

this is why I think KB will not die, he is giving us a lot of information that a jinchuuriki can do with its bijuu and this is why I think KB is bound to meet Naruto.
I’m kind of lost, obviously when Naruto’s transformation lead to one tail smaller than it’s bijuu’s original tail amount (when naruto turned 8 tails and the original tail amount is 9) it is clear that the transformation lead the beast not only to grow its skeletal part, but also its muscular and tissue system:

8 tails right? But now that we look at KB he is 7 tails (1 tail below his original) it is only the skeletal system formed, and the muscular and tissue system is still missing. Moving on though, we see Kisame eat the charge so bad that it buries a hole in Samehada and his lower chest to upper abdominal area, with this happening I have a few questions:

holy crap... Kisame is a force to be reckoned with just look at the middle left panel... the place becomes a gigantic ocean... Damnn talk about giving the cliche "the world is your playground" a whole new meaning huh?
with that said though, I believe that it is time for us to bid Kisame farewell because:
Sabu-chan HOW THE HELL CAN YOU TALK UNDER WATER?!?
Remember how Suigetsu wanted Samehada for himself? Imagine him fusing with Samehada... what would he look like...lol. Anyway, Kisame fuses with Samehada and becomes the ultimate shark. Now i believe that his battle will be all about chakra stealing maybe everytime he touches KB or lands a hit KB's chakra is stolen. As i mentioned above now that the fight has been escalated to this level then there is no point for KB not to unleash Hachibi. LOL when that happens the fight will be really like those nature shows in Discovery Channel where an octopus fights a shark haha. Moving on, now that the battleground has expanded so much, Kisame has the biggest advantage as he will be able to move freely and manipulate conditions, with 5 Kages and 10 bodyguards nearby this is begging to be interrupted, not to mention now that Sakura is gone it is safe to assume that Naruto will be going back to his Senjutsu training which should enable him to track this enormous chakra supply(on top of that Kakashi and Tenzou is in the area), aaaand Sakura & co. should be able to detect/feel this battle, so again, this fight is begging to be interrupted.
Rating: 8/10
Pretty good chapter, a lot of action and learned a couple of things, pretty good chapter overall.
Predictions:
LOL i already made my predictions up there... but in case you missed it I was right about Ao ahhahahaha, seriously though, Mizukage will interfere the Ao vs. Fuu match, and KB and Sharkboy will still escalate but there would still be an intervention.
Now that i'm at it what if Naruto shows up in the battle, uses Senjutsu and Kisame absorbs it then becomes a shark statue? then KB was saved by Naruto, Roidkage develops a sense of respect for Naruto, and KB and Naruto work together.

Great chapter, i was just expecting something from Naruto & co, and Madara & co. this week but oh well... they should make an appearance soon

- Did he intentionally take the hit in order for Samehada to absorb the chakra?
