I wouldn't agree when it comes to Jahad and Ascensio though..Just as Bam can currently beat rankers despite not being one I would put Jahad/Ascensio on the same level as a ranker during the data arc
It's not surprising to see lower ranked regulars beat higher ranked ones but things are very different when a regular is compared to Rankers.
Adori, the only non-irregular to officialy beat a Ranker as a regular in the entier history of the tower, only did it when she was A-class.
Doom, a former top-200 HR who knows dudes like Yamah and Yasratcha, noted that it's absolutely impossible for a regular to beat a Ranker, this means that from his perspective, both Yamah and Yasratcha at the 133rd floor were nothing compared to the weakest Ranker in existence.
Based on these facts, it's impossible for D-class Maschenny to be even remotely close to a low level Ranker, let alone Asencio.
Even IF data zahard was ranker level, he'd be at the lowest possible end for rankers AND skill wise he'd be nowhere near a ranker.
Data Jahad's prowess vastly outperformed Charlie's.
In terms of speed, when Charlie tried to
speedblitz Baam, the latter
easily reacted and blasted him from range. Compared to him, data Jahad's average speed seems to be dramatically superior to Baam's as shown when he traveled a much longer distance and reached the core before Baam could :
Furtheremore, when data Jahad attacked with Coelacanth (a linear high speed thrust), Baam had no way but to
block and was still
injured from several additional hits.
Therefore, it's pretty much obvious that data Jahad is faster than Charlie.
In terms of destructive capacity, Coelacanth feat speaks for itself as Baam with Orb-Shinwonryuu and many multipliers (revolution + Thorn) couldn't block it fully. In fact, even when the Thorn was ignited, he could only
tie with
it.
Cosmos put Baam (prior to Thorn ignition) in the defensive and second Cosmos is even stronger, meanwhile Leviathan (Lecalicus 3rd form) is at worst a little bit weaker than Stardust, the same skill which harmed Kallavan while even fully grown HRs can't even scratch him.
Besides, since data Jahad doesn't seem to have stamina issues, it can be said that he can spam HR+ level attacks on a constant basis.
Compared to him, Charlie's
mid-long ranged bangs were
effortlessly overpowered by Baam's attack, which continued its way and
broke the very sturdy Whaley in a
single hit.
Based on these facts, it's quite sure that in terms of just DC :
Charlie << Baam w/o Thorn ignition << data Jahad <= Baam w Thorn ignition.
About skills, we know from their fight that there is a
dramatical difference between Baam (back then) and data Jahad, so it can't be oughtright said that the latter isn't Ranker tier skillwise.
Combining all battle areas, speed, DC, power, durability, skills, experience, etc, data Jahad seems more of an advanced Ranker tier fighter and it should be the same for the strongest FHs at least (Edahn, Arie Hon and arguably Yurin as well).
