Bull bull bull. I mean for one, there is no way in hell Batman wrote down Jason Todd as the heir to his freaking Batcave. How the hell is Jason Todd going to do it? Stealing? Please, if there is going to be a new Batman it will always be Dick Grayson, he's the only side kick fully developed and responsible enough for the position. Also Jason Todd was supposedly going to be "Red Robin"... I know I hate it too, I mean why would DC name their best anti hero after a hamburger.

If I was running the show, I would have Jason Todd turn into the next Joker. Reason being that his little crusade as Red Hood was parallel to the Joker's first super villian identity.

Anyways, its all speculation. right now Batman has a crossover event and I am very well expecting a death and then a Lazerus pit resurrection.

Is anyone reading Y, Last man? Last chapter is due either this or next month. So far I've had my heart broken, not sure whether to expect a happy or sad ending for the series.

Can you imagine if Batman becomes a New God? He'll be like Darkseid, and of course Alfred will be there too playing the Desaad role. But instead of torture, Alfred would lock up the prisoners in a clean dungeon -- where they will have to eat scones for the rest of their life for breakfast.

I'm reading Yorrick too. BKV sure loves to give us plot twists. Instead of becoming the luckiest man alive (i choose the word man because the capuchin is a male), he becomes the most sought after person on Earth -- to kill.

Its over, I loved it while it lasted... hell I still love it (currently rereading it.)

I suggest any comic fan to stop what their doing and just reread Green Lantern. Hell start at Emerald Dawn from the 1990s, skip the entire Kyle Raydner phase and then begin at Green Lantern Rebirth straight to Sinestro War. Oh and from their keep reading straight into 2010 or however long Geoff Johns works on the title.

Sinestro War was a great story. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Blackest Night in 2009. I wonder what the "Black Lanterns" are going to represent. also is it me, or did Ganthet and Sayd become Blue Laterns???

Oh so are we going to have champions for every lanterns??? like Ion for the Greens, Parallax for the Yellow (and I guess Anti-Monitor for the Blacks now...)

I think the birth of the Black Lantern is a new part of the prophecy. And with changes in the prophecy, there will be changes in the world.
But overall, Sinestro Corps just proved again and again that Hal Jordan is awesome!!

Well I think Blackest Night is the equivalent of Marvel Zombies, except that this is actual continuity.

Lol, I just thought of something hilarious... I bet Cyborg Superman dies right before Blackest Night and gets turned into a Black Lantern xD. Hopefully some mainstream superheroes and villains get power rings during Blackest Night. Like I could totally see Jason Todd put on a Red Ring, and Lex Luthor donning the orange. Oh and Batman, he'd probably get recruited by every single corps. I mean Yellow and Green both wanted him. Superman seems like an Indigo Lantern.... Joker is definitely Yellow.

Anyways any prediction for Black Lanterns? Right now at the top of the list for me are Conner Clark and Bart Allen.

Well with Didio hinting at an actual return of Bart Allen (no confirmation however), I don't think Bart Allen will be one. I can see Kal-L (especially with that JSA preview page of his hand coming out of the grave) and Conner and all those that Superboy/man-prime killed in Infinite Crisis and maybe even all those Black Adam killed in WWIII. I can definitely see Maxwell Lord coming back too. I think that is Superboy/man exists past Final Crisis I can see him being the mascot of the Black Lanterns and holding Anti-monitors essence in him like Ion and Parallax do for their mascots...

On another note...Anyone read Booster Gold??? Who do you think that "new" Blue Beetle is?

Anyone know when the new Titans (adult one with all the old 1st Gen members) comes out??? I really want to see it. THough, I wonder....How will Starfire fit in if she's off powerless with Animal man...they better get to repowering her soon.

They showed her in Green Lantern 25 fighting, so yeah she gets repowered.

Booster Gold is a fun read (same guy doing GL and JSA so obviously) but it pulls so much from old school comics that I honestly couldn't guess whats next.

Heh, this is a random thing that crossed my mind while riding the bus to work today. Have anyone noticed the similarity between Aang (from Avatar: The Last Airbender/Avatar: The Legend of Aang) and Red Tornado (of the Justice League of America)

They both got the same "decoration" on their head and both are wielder of the wind element, well at least before Aang learned to use other elements.

well there is no White Lantern as of right now, but I can see Hal or Kyle being promoted during that arc into a "White Lantern" which will be the the only way to stop the Black Lanterns.

If all emotions represent a color after all, then black in the void of emotion where there is none. White would then be the balance of all emotions coming together as one. Hence for their to be a white lantern, Hal or Kyle will have to learn to use all emotions as power, Which I can actually see Hal doing since he's already had the experience of using Fear and Willpower.

That seems like a cop out too me and I doubt Johns would do anything that obvious.

Also really racial we no one wants. Geoff Johns will probably use the Corps Wars as a an excuse to power a lot of beings and have them unify in a way we never imagined. Probably even have Sinestro get his ring back. But the point is that it'll be unpredictable. I mean did anyone realize Sinestro's master plan all along was to improve the Green Lantern Corps and implant the new rules because he still believed in the Corps vision of universal order? That is a twist, which I hope more villains take notice and become idealist.

No, I believe they became Blue Lanterns as they were talking about Hope for the universe or something like that.

I can't tell...because they are blue and the light around is white I have no Idea what color the ring is. I just assumed white cause of the robes and such, and how the Blue lanterns pictured earlier had different light surrounding them...looks like the same symbol though..Anyone else have opinions?

Ganthet and Sayd created the Blue Lantern, the light that represents "Hope". It was hinted by what Ganthet said to Sayd (no pun intended), "If the skies grow black, we will do what we told Hal Jordan we could. We will HOPE."

I enjoy the new Ion 10,000,000x more than Kyle Rayner. A Daxamite is a great idea. Its like Mon-el (sans the lead weakness) multiplied by a 100 because of the ring, and another 100 because of the Ion powers.

I was a little disappointed at the outcome of Cyborg Superman, Superboy Prime, and the Anti-Monitor. I would have liked a bit more closure. But, gaining Sodam Yat as Ion made the whole war for me. I like Guy Gardener a million times more now than in the 90's also.

Does anyone get a "Captain Planet" feel for the "love" rings? All I can think of is the south american kid with the "heart" ring, when all the rest of them had fire, water, earth, and wind. Kind of a jip.
