I almost wish this were meant as a prologue to a MUCH bigger story that acts as a kind of sequel to Fairy Tail, or rather is set in that same universe and explains some things about the gods.... maybe even ties to the Rave. I need to read Rave Master...

Boring chapter though I am mildly curious if mashima will do something unexpected with the reincarnation at play here. Maybe the gang is reincarnated as regular humans and when they reach a certain age they basically chestburst out of their human frames in front of their families.

Otherwise... the chapters continue to suffer from way too little happening every chapter.

I think problem stems from Mashima's work not lending itself to monthly releases. It's too slow for his style whereas a weekly or biweekly release can keep up with him.

Case in point, Hien dying in chapter 11 and now returning would've been within a single year, but with a monthly release, it's been over 2 YEARS to get to his reintroduction

Again, I feel if this was a weekly or even biweekly, this story would've easier to follow and the shock of Hien and Yakuto dying and being reincarnated would've been within a year not the almost 3 year drag

The setup for this chapter was pretty good.You slowly realized that its Yakuto while reading the chapter.Proven ONCE again that Hiro can write IF he wants.

To me it felt way too obvious it was yakuto. Zero subtlety with the black and white dragon. To me the question is how much yakuto remembers from his time in the demon world. And he probably has to die as a human to go back. Also I would think yakuto's plan in the human world probably won't be as effective as he thought considering "god" appears to rely more on relatively few people with extreme faith which he keeps hidden rather than massive and more vulnerable populations with middling faith.

I'm just hoping we don't have to waste time looking for Hien and Setsuna again and make them remember everything as well

An another boring and unintersting chapter again , since it's clear now nobody will die (a dark fantasy with characters came back to life take note Berserk and co LOL) there wil be no suprise anymore Yakuto die again no problem he will be back as a demon , dead again come back as a humain with all his memories no problem easy peasy body, like Frey and the others didn't even need to try to make Yakuto remember what happened in hell really not even a little , no wonder why it's Mashima biggest flop among his works.
