Oh man, I wanted to start a thread and what do I see? The thread is already here, hyhy ^^ I will say this in short: Desperate Housewives is the best tv series ever <3<3
Ok, so I will just provide some info about my 'feelings' towards that series:
- the best character: all ladies from Wisteria Lane have this "sth", and it would be hard for me to say, if I like more Gabriel, Bree, Lynette or Susan, or even Edee <*>, or misses McKlusky, etc. xD
So all in all every women in DH has sth which I just love:
- Susan - sweety and goofy and clumsy
- Bree - 'perfect' housewife
- Lynette - hehe good wife and mommy
- Gabi - .... say: pretty woman
But the best thing about them is when they will give someone a taste of they "revenge" personality, hyhy
Then you just want and want and want more to watch *x* <who watched knows what I'm talking about xD>
With guys is clearly.. the same, I like all of them, and if Carlos is shown - I like him to watch and what he does, and if it's Tom, the same, and so on. But here is someone I like the most: Andrew <yeah, that guy is the best, when he was "the bad boy", and when he turned quite cool>; I mean, I like his attitude, he's one of the few "real" characters in this show, and when he ended being "bad", he became quite cool in his own right, like for example: when Orson was introduced and was dating Bree, and Bree landed in hospital, in the hospital Andrew said to Orson: "You know why my mother thrown me away from home? Because she didn't like "the other Andrew". So if you do sth bad to my mom, I will show you "the other" Andrew. <it was so cool xD> Orson replyed: I will not allow to hurt your mother, and Andrew: And I will do every means if necessary to protect my mom; then he walked to the nurse and shown a little of "the other" Andrew to Orson xD <he may don't look like it, but he loves his mother nonetheless xD> Of course I'm not talking about "newest" seasons as of 5th season, because it's a different matter ^^ So yeah, I like this "past psycho" Andrew a lot, superb guy and it was somewhat sad for me, when he dissapred from the show when Bree thrown him out
The other guys: Mike - I think he's the guy who is likeable from the beginning ^^ Ok, like Carlos and Tom xD <frankly speaking Mike and Carlos are cool, and so is Tom, but after 5th season I quite liked something more about this simple-minded Tom: the friendship of Tom and Gabi, it was quite cool if you ask me xD> Also I would like to mention Zack. This was one motherf*cker "psycho". One things for certain: he "started" as complety loser to becamse complete millionaire "psycho" xP <I liked the little episodes when he came back and wanted Gabi to be his woman xP>
The characters which I don't like: frankly speaking I don't like this "true" bad guys. When such persona losses to ladies from WL in some way, I have a smile on my face <3 <e.g. pedophile motif: you think Linette did sth wrong, really wrong for the first time, and later the next scene and you're just shocked with wide opne mouth and eyes, and you think: "what a psychological series : O " xDXD
The best season: I like every season, seriously. DH are the only probably tv series, about which I can say that from season to season they are at the same level - this or that, up and downs, but overally awesome. The epic stuff in each season is just superb, really superb. But, ok, if I must say which season was.. hmm.. the little bit off from the others, and a little "down" on sth, it would be probably season 5. Mind me, Dave was awesome and all, but I think that the main issue which was the secret of Dave and his family was somewhat.. crappy. I don't know if I'm clear here, but the ending was <even if a good one> somewhat.. odd; probably I expected sth more from that, heh.
The best "arcs" <not seasons, but small 2/3 episode arcs in each season>: ALL, some are good, some are very good, and some are awesome or epic, but none is bad, definitely xD And it doesn't depend whether the main heroine is Bee, Susan or someone else <but scenes with Andrew as bad guy and later on were the most sympathetic ones <clearly because he is my most favourite character, duh xd>
The past "pairing": well, it's as hard to tell as with "favourite character" thingy - I just can't decide on one, because I love SusanxMike, I love OrsonxBree, I love GabixCarlos, I love LynettexTom and so on xD But, seriously, there's just one pairing which I can say is the most sympathetic one <to me>: OrsonxBree; I just love this "prefect" couple no matter what, and Orson is just f*cking funny at moments <hahaha>. I'm sad that at the end of season 5 they are somewhat "separated" by screenwriters <mind me, I didn't watch any episode of season 6 so I don't know what happened to them, but I wish they stayed together - they are both "prefect" to me to be the "perfect" couple>
To sum up: the best tv series forever and ever! <3<3 <imo>

Probably it's too late by I will answer that question: go from the 1 to the newest - every season has a good moments and bad moments, but overall Desperate Hiousewives are top notch from season to season xD

Yeah, we can call such things controversial, but I must say that it's also truth in what is shown, but nobody wants to tell/show sth like that. Such things as keeping a dead body of someone's husband in the fridge <without spoilers
