the problem here is that we have seen 3 legitimate DS and 2 fake ones, we barely have anything to go around with. And a potential fruit user with the element a DS is bound to be a logia so in a way devil fruit has an advantage. I mean, if you are going to be a freak, you might as well be intangible right?

Maybe that would not be the case with gazille though, he seems very akin to MR 1 in which case I would prefer DS powers for the sake of versatility.... but that is just one case though.... Between cobra and magellan I'd pic magellan(unless you really feel eating poison without getting sick is that big of a deal).

I never really got the difference between the real and fake, but what I do like about DS is that you can eat elements. What I hate about DF is that you can't swim. I'm not really sure what Wendy's DS power beside healing is and what are the downfalls of DS?

i think at this moment fakes seem to be as strong as originals(luxus prooved this more than enough), but in time, while natsu achieving his full potential,originals will far surpass the others.

about DS vs DF, i guess i found the ultimate kicker xD WATER DRAGON SLAYER , since the DF users lose all their abilities in the concact with sea water,DS just need to drink a huge amount of sea water and spray it on them.
DF has more variations,not limited only with the elements but DS doesnt have such a weakness.also they can refill their power and even multiple it a few times by eating their element.at first i thought DF would be superior but now i'm positive that DS is just better.

I think there are more possibilities (as far as we know) with the devil fruit, so I'll probably take my chances with those.
If I could literally choose the power, then yeah, also the Devil Fruit, the varieties we've seen so far are insane.

And as to what power I've always liked a certain sense of invincibility or deaccelerated aging.
