* They might focus on Kanda's backstory because they show the lotus flower.
* They showed the boat battle (Lenalee vs. Eishi)
* They even showed the fight between Allen and the Earl though not in Crown Clown form.
* They foreshadowed the Ark.
* OMG, they introduced a new Noah! How cool is that especially if Hoshino gave the animators her blessing to do that! I hope she/he is a manga character and not just an anime character. She may even be that mysterious Noah from the first dinner party.

I love the new opening, especially the beginning with the moon xD. the ending is...okay, let's say it this way. It's not bad but it doesn't throw me from my chair either.
BUT THE 2nd OP, WOW, I love the song and Kanda looks so damned sexy when he stares at the flower xD. *coughs* Well, let's see what the Anime makes of the unknown Noah, till now...we haven't seen much of her in the manga. Maybe she's important, maybe she just slipped into the panel, who knows ^_^

i like the new opening and ending though I prefer the opening's animation since there is more movement. the ending's animation is too... still-like for my taste. the still animation worked well with "pride of tomorrow" but i think moving animation would work better with this ending.

super excited for this noah. she kinda reminds me of a female version of tyki. i wonder who her opponent will be...

anyway, did anyone notice the ace of spade at the end of the opening? i think it not only refers to

allen's death (it was the only card that was left behind)

but also allen's threat level to the earl.

the ace of spade is the highest ranked card in a deck so it suits him very well.

i just realised but in the second op, the new noah has two different looks. at 0:24, she has blonde hair, while in 1:03, she has black hair. thought i'll just point that out.

I agree... that was like.... the best part!
But the lotus-hourglass has so far only been in the novel... I wonder if they plan to introduce it earlier in the anime than in the manga?
